Superb Location, exceptional natural features - accessible mountain stream, hour hike to top of a smaller mountain with views forever, dam with jetty and canoes/ paddle/boats and swimming in dam, easy walks in nature, plenty birds, outdoor and indoor facilities, exceptionally great staff, most certainly one of the best stays we've experienced with wi-fi for working online in a piece of heaven.

Parking presented a bit of a challenge to turn one's vehicle ... basic paving would be a welcome improvement. Otherwise beautiful shade under the fig tree!

Did not have breakfast. Liked attention to equipment detail in the cottage, e.g. cutlery, braai equipment and general kitchen needs. Loved the tub, but found the wood pricy, especially in such "wood-rich" surroundings.

The aircon didn't work very well on a hot night in February.

We stayed in the Hadeda cottage - it was a perfect little hideaway with everything needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable - the kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

We loved the tranquility and natural beauty of the environment. The cottage was very charming, a great braai place. The wood fire heated pool outside was the best part while looking up at the night sky.

Being charged R60 for half a crate of wood when it was advertised for R40 for a full bag 🫣 Apparently it runs on an honesty system so not quite sure about that one.... Alot of ants, so be aware of that when braaing

There was no shampoo or soap supplied. The receptionist kindly gave me some shampoo and we used hand wash as soap and body wash so all was fine in the end.

Excellent location. Beautiful mountain reserve with lovely views. The spa bath was exceptional and I also loved the hot tub. And the fact that loadshedding was not a problem due to the inverter kicking in.

I liked the convenience of the braai and/or breakfast baskets , unfortunately no halaal options.

I loved the scenery and the tranquility of the venue . The amenities and staff were top class. I loved the recommendation from the front office on which hike to do! The first day of spring was in bloom!

It was perfect. Secluded, beautiful and the staff were absolutely wonderful. The house was tastefully furnished, all equipment was top class and the hot tub was a delight. The walk in shower and spa bath was an added bonus as were the hammocks😊. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet little getaway.

I would suggest ashtrays outside as I had to use a bottle for cigarette butts. It would be great if they could start the hot tub before guests arrive as I used 3 bags and the water stayed cold. i am not sure of there was a problem with the tub or a valve that had to be opened so after wasting so much wood on the tub I gave up and never got to use it.

The spa bath was amazing and the electric blanket was a nice touch for the cold winter.

Can't make a any type lunch during load shedding no back up power even for the basics. No warm water when theres no power and aircon malfunctions abit probably due to load shedding.

Very beautiful place can understand why so many choose to say their I do's. So much Tranquility. Beds are very comfy and fully equipped kitchen if you did want to make a Sunday lunch.

The only gripe was that the toilet area was very confined and a challenge to navigate. Obviously toilet space was sacrificed for the spa bath...

Everything! It was a very special place! The hot tub was a real treat! The view from the veranda was lovely. The bed, pillows, and duvet were soft and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Bass fishing was very rewarding. Despite having neighbours when we were there we felt quite secluded as if we had the place to ourselves.
