Highly recommend staying here! We stayed for our last night in Scotland and it was the perfect farewell experience. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, delicious! I hade the pea risotto with pancetta paired with white wine and I’m drooling just thinking about it. The staff were so friendly and conversations were great! Views from the restaurant and the room were picturesque, especially seeing longboats and swans leisurely swimming in the nearby canal. We didn’t hear any noise from the floor below us or the rooms next to us during our stay, though we were very tired from our day of traveling. The bed was very comfortable, too! I wish it wasn’t raining while we were there so we could have enjoyed their outdoor space, looked like a great place to hang out. We walked around the canal footpath for a bit, very sweet and recommend. The Edinburgh airport is nearby enough that the drive in the morning was quick, but far away enough that there was no airplane noise. Surprisingly great hotel close to the airport. The hotel is a nice with an old charm and a great spa with green surroundings. The restaurant is superb, for both dinner and breakfast.

Room was comfy and clean. Beautiful, nice natural environment with fresh air, and birds chirping in the morning. Excellent breakfast with abundant choices. I tried 3 different choices during my 3-night stay. All fresh and yummy! Hosts were friendly and wonderful! Would certainly stay there again next time.

Large property. Had a gym and a pool to use. Restaurant was good and they served a great breakfast. Rooms were spacious. Property is a short distance from the train station so can get into Edinburgh in about 20 minutes by train.

Location was gorgeous - very private and extremely comfortable. Historical interest too. Host was lovely and we kept in contact throughout the stay to book breakfasts each day. The breakfasts were exceptional - good value for money - beautifully cooked full breakfast or scrambled egg and smoked salmon, for example. Plenty of tea/coffee and toast/croissants/cereal/yoghurts/fruit too. Would 100% come back again. Thanks to Greig for making our stay so comfortable and welcoming Skye too!
