The bright rooms at Gripsholms Värdshus are decorated in a classic style with parquet wooden floors, antique-style furniture and chandeliers. TVs and private bathrooms are standard in all.

Breakfast was great, however, there was a bit of an electricity problem. Griddles and toaster were too much together for the set up.

    Comfy bed and nice decor. Good shower. Room rate included breakfast which was lovely. Very extensive choice of freshly prepared food.. Had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious and reasonably priced for Sweden. Restaurant buzzing even on a Monday night. Located near the lake and 15 min walk from the fabulous castle/national portrait gallery.

    Great house, it was a great feeling to arrive into this big roomy house that gave such a cosy atmosphere. Our two kids (2 and 13) loved to just hang out, watch tv and play cards. Breakfast in fridge was super, such a nice surprise. Lovely surroundings.
