Very friendly staff and clean room. The breakfast was also rich and varied. Strongly recommended!!

Incredibly nice owners, lovely breakfast with selfmade bread. Very cozy place. We had the room in the basement which was very spacious. 1000% a recommendation to go there.

Since the moment I arrived, the owner Gudrun received me with open arms and gave me a map right away with places to visit around Snaefellsnes! She was very sweet and caring! The cabin was absolutely wonderful, equipped with everything you need to have a pleasant stay. The dinner both night was absolutely INCREDIBLE! The lamb and the pasta were SOOOOO GOOD! Worth it every penny! The breakfast was also wonderful. Gudrun really cares about her visitors, and you can truly tell by the way she helps and is always available, plus she’s a wonderful cook! As a solo traveler, it truly made me feel like home, which honestly, was the best! I’ve been in Iceland for 2 weeks now and have stayed at 10 different places, this one has been BY FAR! The best! What a wonderful stay!

Situato a 500 metri dal sito storico di Eiríksstaðir e a 17 km dal villaggio di Budardalur, lo Stóra-Vatnshorn offre case vacanza con accesso al Wi-Fi gratuito, cucina privata e vista sul lago e sulle... We stayed in a cozy cabin, fully equipped and super clean with wonderfull views. The place is really quiet to relax away from touristic places but also well located for visiting the nearby area. A little sad that we were only staying for one night. We definitely recommend staying here. Hope to come back in the future.

One of our favourite places where we stayed in Iceland! Probably the most friendly staff we encountered on our travels in the country. Food was outstanding and baked goods were incredibly good. Felt like you were brought into their home for dinner.

This Western Iceland homestay, located off the main route, at the base of Nýpurhyrna Mountain, offers panoramic views of the Breidafjördur Fjord. Tutto bellissimo, posizione magnifica, bella ristrutturazione, tutti molto gentili.

They made sure that we had an amazing time. They gave us tips on when to see puffins and when we went looking for them, they extended the hours of breakfast for us. The place is spotless and the breakfast is by far the best we had during almost 2 weeks in Iceland. Highly recommend this place.
