El Sama Al Wasil Desert Camp se encuentra en Shāhiq y ofrece restaurante buffet, ping pong y juego de dardos. propert has 3 different room types, tent, chalet( brick small detached room) and bigger room ( sultan tent). we stayed in chalet .. service and the level of amenities are good considering desert conditions. it is really clean and free from dust and sand. there is sand dune nearly be recommend to climb and watch sunrise. breakfast and dinner open buffet simple but delicious. the day we arrived was stormy and heavy rainy ( they say this happens last 25 yrs ago!). our experience of the camp was limited thus service was good.

Located in the deepest part of the desert, this place truly felt like an oasis to us. We were welcomed with a luxurious tent with all the amenities you would like to unwind. And we really enjoyed the mouth-watering food that was prepared, including many local dishes! Besides, our host Shubam made our stay that much more enjoyable. We shared lovely stories about our backgrounds and lives, which made us fee connected. We will definitely come back to experience this again!

El Arabian Oryx Camp, situado en medio de las arenas de Sharqiya, en el barrio vacío de Omán, ofrece un alojamiento entre beduinos en el desierto. A very good desert hotel! Personnel: Polite, helpful Rooms: spacious, clean. Just everything you need! Breakfast/dinner: great variety of dishes. Tasty! Great experiance with dune bashing! Received a room upgrade free of charge – thank you.

El Retreat Camp in Sharqiya es un alojamiento respetuoso del medio ambiente situado en medio de las altas dunas de arena del desierto de Omán. I spent two weeks in Oman but definitely this was the highlight of the trip. We were picked up by the owner from Al Wusta (as we didn't have a 4x4) and he drove us to the camp. There was only one group of friends and the rest of the camp was empty, which was nice as we chose this specific camp to relax and disconnect. Nice activities were offered (other guys did the dune bashing). The owner spent a really long time talking to us - he was the nicest person in the already very friendly country. The staff working there was very polite and helpful. Food options (including vegetarian!) were amazing, for the desert I think it was almost luxurious. I will always recommend this camp to everyone, it was really nice and peaceful. This camp is a gem of Wahiba Sands. And the tallest dune is located right next to the camp, which is a must to climb (although exhausting). The sunset was beautiful. The owner really cares about his business and the guest, as well as his staff.
