We arrived a bit earlier then the scheduled check in time, however the hotel staff was super kind and did not ask us to wait 1h but only 15 minutes. Initially we got a room without the view that we wanted, however the amazing receptionist managed to change our room to a view to mount Fuji, which was just superb.

L'Hotel Route-Inn Shimada Ekimae es troba a només 5 minuts a peu de l'estació de tren JR de Shimada i té un restaurant de cuina japonesa amb bufet d'esmorzar japonès i occidental gratuït. Very friendly staff, and 24hours reception. Had a comfortable stay. Nice breakfast in the morning, and close to the train station and nearby restaurants in Shimada. Will stay here again next time i travel for work.

If you are someone who has never stayed in a Japanese business style hotel you may find the room tiny, but as someone who lives in Japan and doesn't need a room for anything other than having a shower, sleeping and getting ready, the room was more than satisfactory.

The breakfast was the best so far, I have had 2 weeks driving Japan so far and this place is dam good, but the breakfast is unreal , some western food to!!! 😋

Only a 5-minute drive from JR Kikukawa Train Station, Hotel Route-Inn Kikukawa Inter features simple modern accommodations and a free-breakfast for all guests. It was near a good unagi ju restaurant. The public bath was OK.
