We had a very enjoyable stay. Lucy was amazing. She checked us in showed us our room and also served drinks and food in the evening. The breakfast was very good. The room was extremely clean, warm and welcoming

Location close to motorway is ideal for overnight stay when driving from southern England to north Scotland. Breakfast is very well prepared individually. Staff are friendly and helpful. Cosy bar. Enjoyed a very well prepared steak.

Unexpected upgrade to our bedroom without asking meant we stayed in style! Hotel is in process of refit, so bedrooms upgraded and modern. Food menu in process of being changed so only basic on the night we changed, but cooked well and good value. staff were lovely.
