Beach and surf town with a very relaxed atmosphere. There are many restaurants, but the very best food is outside the city in a place called Cafe com Cacau. The food and the people there are worth a trip to Itacare. For tours, you have only two options, in my opinion - Dona (Sra.) Cida, a 74 years old lady who will show you the beauties of Itacare beaches and forests.
