Very smart rooms, looked to be newly refurbished. And extremely clean. Kath (the owner) and Sara were amazing. So friendly, kind and professional. They could not have done more to make our stay great. They work really hard to make you feel at home.
Breakfast was delicious.
We had a curry one evening too which was also very nice.
On site parking was a bonus, be sure to give your number plate details to someone at the bar as the car park is not owned by the pub.

Breakfast was good but got very busy from both residents and general public , which stretched the service staff.

Amazing staff - Particularly Georgia who went out of her way for us, especially with booking taxis and allowing early check-in. The room was brand new, loved the high quality tea and coffee options and was perfect for what we needed!

The Tamworth Arms is a great place to stay, with friendly staff, very good food and clean rooms.
We enjoyed our walk around the town. The castle looked lovely all lit up at night. It would have been nice to have been there during the day to visit the castle and find out more about the King of Mercia.

Tamworth has a lot in it.
Tamworth has a lot in it. A massive retail park with loads of shops, even got a Primark, lots of food options on it too, Nandos, Pizza Exp, Mcdonalds, KFC and loads more. There's big ski centre, its got everything if you want to venture out at night or find yourself short of something you forgot to pack.

The historical side of Tamworth is well worth looking at.
The historical side of Tamworth is well worth looking at. Unfortunately the town centre looked tired and neglected. To many closed down pubs and shops. Shame because the pubs that are open are good, as are some of the shops.
Excellent independent hotel to stay at.
Rooms modern, clean and tidy. Beds comfy an great showers.
Parking at back for a number of vehicles (get there early if you can)
Didnt have an evening meal but did have breakfast which is exceptional with fantastic quality produce.
If your in a rush you can ask to take it away and they'll wrap it up for you.
centrally located to a quick walk into the town centre
Will certainly stay again when in the area.
Central location. Parking in close-by public car park. great welcome by Aaron. Warm room and good bed. Lovely clean sheets and plenty of tea and coffee etc in the room. Iron and board + hairdryer. All in all a good stay although the hotel gives you the feeling it is a little tired (the hotel is old though). the wedge wood conference room is beautiful (we had our wedding reception in the wedgewood room 45 years ago!)
Frida, Saturday and Sunday and Monday I would rate as ( to 9.5) Sunday afternoon I would rate as ZERO or negative. The BAR STAFF WERE ATTROCIOUS for this reason I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. Also which I believe is illegal NO INSTRUCTIONS for IN CASE of Emergency!!!! HOW THE HELL DID THEY GET A LICENSE TO OPERATE. Already contacted Tamworth council and Fire Brigade
The house is great. Plenty of room to spread out and relax. Great location to pop into Tamworth town centre or visit the Snow dome. The house was clean and tidy and obviously a lot of thought had gone into the renovation. Shower is powerful. Great communication from the owners. We would stay again.
Lovely spacious and bright apartment on the ground floor. We stayed just before Christmas and there were some nice festive touches too - tree, table decoration
Great location for Tamworth Castle, town centre, food shopping and places to eat. All these within walking distance.
Room was brilliant really clean, comfortable and great value for money. Staff were excellent and very helpful, Breakfast was good with a large variety of options. Location of the hotel was ideal close to the Town Centre and local attractions.
This is my third time staying here and I couldn't be happier with my time there.
Makes visiting home and seeing friends a lot more enjoyable when you know you've got a decent hotel to go back to.
very clean and comfy bed , room had been renovated so everything was new, hotel only reopened that week and having a few teething problems but the staff attended to all issues arising immediately
turned up to this hotel and it was not open. Empty property with a building site around d the back. Tried to phone them with no answer and we had to find alternative accommodation!
Staff are very helpful, rooms are clean and tidy, parking is right outside the hotel.
The hotel is situated within walking distance of the town centre and lots of amenities.
Location was excellent. Food(breakfast) was very good with plenty of variety. Restaurant was clean and tidy. The general atmosphere in the hotel was pleasant and welcoming.
