One of the oldest and most historic US cities, Boston is known as ‘America’s Walking City’. In its heart, next to 18th-century Faneuil Hall, is Quince Market - a food haven. The nearby seaport offers whalewatching trips and restaurants serving a Boston speciality: lobster with melted butter.
The streets south of the peaceful Charles River in Back Bay are lined with Victorian brownstone houses. At the downtown end of one – Beacon Street – is the Cheers bar, modelled on the 80s sitcom. Opposite is Boston Common, a large park with a bronze sculpture celebrating the book ‘Make Way for Ducklings’. The golden dome of the House of Representatives is by the other end.
The oldest part is Charlestown and streets around the Bunker Hill obelisk still feature old-style gas lamps, though now they are electric. Over in Cambridge, Harvard is the USA’s oldest and most prestigious university. The campus is open to the public, as is Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), whose central point is an emblematic, Pantheon-like building.
Sport in Boston is also a big thing, with the Celtics and Red Sox among the city’s big name teams.
The largest New England city, Boston has the perfect size for walking and cycling. Logan International Airport is connected by public transport to Boston hotels, motels, apartments and B&Bs.

Loved the fact the hotel was Central and that Boston is easily walkable. Cobble stones and damaged pavements everywhere in older part, North side much easier to walk around.
Some great shops & restaurants, surpringly, not much veggie unless you count green salad.
Everywhere felt safe and comfy to walk round. A week is just enough time for a visit.
For those GF and Vegan I can't recommend Jennifer Lee enough, amazing sandwiches and cakes. Pho also great for vegan food. If you're a carnivore pretty much anywhere is great for you.
We did the hop on hop off Trolley Bus tour one day which was great, some guides were good, others not so much. Tbe Freedom Trail was really interesting, guide was helpful and gave loads of interesting facts on top of the historical info.

Don't let the stereotypes fool you.
Don't let the stereotypes fool you. The people of Boston, while not talkative like I am coming from the south, were the nicest city of strangers I have met, and you can feel a sense of comradery. Multiple instances I had some of the best of a food I'd ever had. The architecture is beautiful and the city is filled to the brim with history around every corner. Be prepared to walk for a deep appreciation of the architecture - it is sprinkled and spaced out all across the city. But it is worth it.
Location excellent. Walkable to all main sites: downtown, China town, Theatre district, Port, North End, Charlseton, Back Bay, South End.
On main road find excellent restaurants that stayed open past 10pm.
Use app SpotHero to save on parking...well worth it.
Best breakfast is at Capital Coffee House.
This hotel is not a 4 star because the rooms need upgrading: beds need to be queen not double, bathrooms outdated, doors need to be changed & carpetting is not clean in rooms, prefer wood floors.
Great hotel comfortable place and great location in Chinatown Downtown Boston it is feel likes in college in dorm rooms sharing with other people rooms and the price is very is great and near the metro lines and buses and near restaurants I do recommend this place to stay overnight and to relax and hangout with friends and to meet new people and good breakfast they have in the kitchen dinning room and it gave laundry room and pool table
The reception staff were friendly and helpful. They did everything they could to accommodate us making us feel really welcomed.
The room was warm, spacious and with a comfortable large bed. We also enjoyed the breakfast with a variety of hot and cold food options.
Free shuttle service to the airport/ train station was a bonus.
I would recommend this hotel and I would definitely visit again when I am back in Boston.
perfectly located in Downtown by Boston Common, central between Back Bay & Waterfront all easily walkable. Really friendly staff, from the welcoming doormen to check in.. Room super well appointed, great coffee machine, robes, amenities.. nothing forgotten. super comfy bed. Am writing this from a 5 star, double the price +, hotel in Toronto which doesn’t hit the Godfrey standard.
airport shuttle is very convenient, call the hotel and they pick up.
rooms are very clean and large
breakfast was eggs, sausage, hash browns, waffles, cereal, some cut fruit, yoghurt, baked goods, juice fountain, very convenient. also coffee and tea 24/7 is super cool
the hotel shuttle can take you to the train station and from there quick trip to downtown Boston
Location perfect for concert at TD Garden, and within walking distance to most Boston attractions. Lovely bar/breakfast area with outside seating and great downtown views. Fun deco. Comfortable bed. Clean room. Good idea to have controls on i-pad. Luxury towels! It cost $20 by taxi from the airport and there's a taxi rank outside which makes an easy return.
The layout of the quad room was quite convenient and spacious, well-designed, and quite functional for a hotel stay, especially with children. The location of the hotel is unbeatable as everything is within walking distance and close to downtown Boston. The facilities (common lounge, coworking space, gym) were a fantastic idea.
great location in the middle little Italy. bed ultra comfortable. five minute walk to downtown and underground rail. manager Patrick super helpful and available from 9am. excellent coffee shop right opposite for great Aussie style coffee and breakfast fare. would stay again here in this boutique hotel when next visiting Boston.
Wonderful stay at this hotel in downtown Boston! The staff were very friendly and helpful-getting luggage out of the taxi and always opening the door. Even little touches like rotating mats in the elevator that say good morning or good evening went a long way. Would highly recommend for anyone needing a nice place to stay.
I fretted about where to stay in Boston with a quick in-and-out (arrival evening, departure 7 a.m. next day) so I opted for this airport hotel. I was a single traveler so didn't expect much but a decent bed. But I had a whole suite to myself! Luxury for a tired over-the-Atlantic traveler -- what a lovely unexpected treat!
The bed was comfortable. The room was larger than normal. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good as well. The decorations were cute. Everything in Boston is expensive, so while this hotel is more than I normally would pay per night, it was less expensive than those in downtown and had free parking.
This hotel is a gem. Not quite in Boston downtown so more affordable, but very well positioned to get anywhere since it is two minutes walk from an MBTA red line stop. Additionally, free airport shuttle and breakfast was included too. Great value for a high quality hotel.
A unique waterfront setting close to all of Boston’s central attractions.
The room was very comfortable and service was first class.
Some might say it’s expensive but you’d struggle to find a hotel with this kind of location and ambience in central Boston.
Excellent location right in the heart of Bay Back, inbetween downtown Boston and Fenway park area. Lots of shops/restaurants nearby. Easy / quick to get to airport. Generic American business hotel. Friendly and helpful staff.
Hotel was in a great location, right next to most of downtown Boston attractions. Room was much bigger than expected, easily accommodated all of us as well as our extra guest. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
Excellent boutique hotel. Comfortable and clean bedrooms. Very central location - middle of Boston not that big and so can walk pretty to everything. Will definitely come back.
The hotel offers a nice breakfast, the rooms are quiet and provide a convenient shuttle to the airport. It's also within a mile's walk to catch a ferry to downtown Boston.
Super Location for all tourist attractions bars and restaurants, great little boutique hotel lovely staff,100% staying there next time we arrive into the Boston!!!
