This place is completely outrageous. The people that work there, the views, the wildlife, the fire on the beach, outrageous.
It's probably my favourite place in the world now. 10/10 across the board.

We love driving around the island, visiting different harbors and bays. It didn’t rain so we had an amazing time. Really liked having the hotel so close to being in town and everybody was very friendly. You can’t beat the views, and every part of the island is a wonderful place to visit. Very relaxing. If you like beautiful, ocean views, farms, and relaxing this is the place to go. Mount Constitution is a must and deer Harbor also. We shopped at the local stores which have amazing art. There’s a little print shop in town that is a must visit where you can get custom shirts. The co-op is a nice small market, and the leather shop is a great visit. There is an outdoor gear place that has beautiful jackets if you forgot to bring the right coat. We ate at the orcas Inn for breakfast and also the new leaf café, which was definitely worth visiting.

Nice art galleries with quality work.

More about Shore Thing house. Products used in house that created a overwhelming smell that made me sick. Had to immediately launder cloths when returning home and take a shower. Furniture and bedding reeked of this perfumed soap.

Version doesn’t work very well on the island.
Version doesn’t work very well on the island. So when you go work with the locals. The management company’s have no clue what to do or how to do it. They say they will get back to you but when your phone doesn’t work that’s hard to do.

Nice walkable streets, most stores had their own distinctive character - was fun browsing them. Loved how the independent bookstore (40 years ownership!) laid out their books; the pottery cum art gallery (some of the local art pieces were really amazing); coffee shops. The burgers and fries were really good at The Lower Tavern. We enjoyed walking the labyrinth at the Emmanuel Episcopalian Church and looking out onto the sea. The Island Market had a great selection of grocery items, including to-go sandwiches and hot meals.
We loved the location of this property. It was about 10 mins from the Ferry and from Eastsound. We stayed in the King Suite and the view was so wonderful. It was peaceful, clean and the room was perfect for us as it had a little kitchenette area so we didn’t have to eat out all the time. Communication with staff was as easy as a text and they answered all our questions so quickly. Overall, highly recommended place to stay at on the island.
We loved this place so much - quiet and relaxing even on a holiday weekend, and ideally placed to visit all parts of the island. Loved the beachside bar and hot tub and the staff were fantastic. Even though the cabin was the smallest one on site, it had all the basics. And the sunsets are unbeatable. Check out the ebikes in nearby Eastsound - by far the best way to see Orcas.
We loved the decorations and special touches through out the hotel. Each room has its own decorations, bedding and sheets are very comfortable. Our room was pretty big with a big bathroom. Breakfast was so special and unique. The owner makes her own delicious 3 coarse breakfast serving. The island is small and this place is in middle of everything. We will be coming back.
We could not have been happier with our stay. We have been to Orcas Island many times and this is the best accommodation we have found.
The pictures are fantastic, but it’s even better in person. Truly phenomenal and would love to come back when weather is a bit nice and we can enjoy the outdoor space. Highest possible recommendation!
Location is perfect in the middle of Eastsound restaurants and shopping. Parking is easy in the garage or on the street. Room is very comfortable and very quiet. Fireplace lends wonderful ambience. Excellent amenities in the shared lobby. Water dispenser is next level!
The view was incredible and everything was so clean! It was awesome that you could walk to the restaurants.
I would definitely go back and Orcas Island was our favorite out of the 3 we went to. It was so beautiful and not too busy.
Beautiful historic resort hotel in a stunningly beautiful location. Food was exceptional, pools and saunas dated but well-kept and relaxing to enjoy. Staff helpful and friendly, massage treatment at the spa was wonderful.
Every room has a water view! And the view was fantastic! The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The Museum was very interesting that explained the historical facts of the hotel.
We loved the space. It was perfect for our little family of three. It was conveniently located near Eastsound. The sound of the creek and the surrounding woods made for a magical feel.
