Breakfast was good if unremarkable. Staff were very courteous. In fact they were really kind. My accommodation was better than I'd expected and I liked the spaciousness of the Bank House. I would go there again. The hospitality tray was kept well topped-up - a small but pleasant feature of my stay.

Pitlochry has become very popular with bus tours and weekenders, but it doesn’t change the charm and attraction of the township and surrounds. The Port-na-Craig area by the Tummel river is glorious, picturesque, unspoilt and tranquil.
We walked from Pitlochry to the Killiecrankie Visitors centre on the marked walking path - it was a great way to enjoy the pristine scenery.
The township has plenty of pubs and cafes offering very good meal options. We dined at The Auld Smiddy - good menu and friendly, helpful waitstaff.
Proper ‘espresso’ coffee was found at Victorias and Cafe Caluna.

A thriving town with lots of independent shops to browse in, eateries & bars & the distillery. There are several museums & galleries. There are frequent drama productions. All the hotels were well signposted.
The scenery is superb with the River Tummel, lochside, woodland & mountain vistas.
Loch Faskally is absolutely stunning & Queens View is aptly named.
There are many walks available from Ben Vrackie 841m, to many waymarked walks in the forest parks. There is a great stroll down to the river & a nice park near the hotel.
Great for angling & cycling routes south of the river. The botany of the limestone outcrops is famous.

Lots of choices of restaurants / pubs. Plenty of quaint shops on the high street. A good base for sightseeing. Short car journey from The House of Brewer. We stayed 1 night to break our journey up, so limited time to fully explore the area.

Always love walking along the river and crossing the dam.
Always love walking along the river and crossing the dam. We had more time this time, so walked down to the boats and enjoyed a lovely cuppa from the other side of the dam. There's a path that runs from the start of the dam (behind the car park) and around the side of the dam into a housing estate. Then walk down towards the Green Park Hotel.
You must take a trip to House of Bruar ! Fabulous shopping experience.

Good location to visit The Highlands. Train station at the bottom of the gardens.
Only 30mins from Perth (where we rented a car) and 1hr 30mins to Inverness.
7 miles to Queens View, great view point of Loch Tummel and Schiehallion.
House of Bruar department store 10mins by car. There are buses but not many.
Fishers Hotel good hotel, good Restaurant.
The Coach House serves very good food (not cheap).
Plenty of other places to eat and Supermarket just off high street.
The meals were great - both breakfast (massive portions!) and evening meals (we ate here twice in the end). You also get 15% off food at lunch and dinner if you are staying at the hotel. The staff were also very friendly and enthusiastic. Seemed like a really well run place. The location of the hotel was also fantastic - right on Pitlochry's main street, but not too noisy. Excellent value for money compared to some of the places we stayed in Scotland on the same holiday.
It is the hotel for a perfect stay. You will be greeted and welcomed personally. The room had a wonderful view of the gorgious garden, in which there was always something to watch. A stay in this hotel alone feels like a vacation. The breakfast is perfect and leaves nothing to be desired. The two hosts are wonderful; very accommodating and have good tips for things to do. Not just for Pitlochry, but for all of Scotland too. I highly recommend this hotel.
Fabulous hotel in a lovely setting about 10 minutes walk from gorgeous Pitlochry. We stayed in the coach house which had private parking and a huge room with separate lounge and walk in wardrobe! It was ideal as we had our two little Boston Terriers with us so it was easy to access outside. The hotel is utterly gorgeous, very dog friendly (but with separate areas if you aren’t) and the staff were wonderful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this B & B! This property had an old world elegance with beautifully decorated rooms that were clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and our hosts were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
It was located in a convenient, quiet location, a short walk to the center of Pitlochry. We would definitely return to this beautiful property.
After being in Fishers hotel and it being filthy... 3 different rooms..me and my friend looked for other accommodation and came across the Acarsaid....was like night and day....had an amazing stay...spotlessly clean room..staff were very friendly..breakfast was lovely...would defo recommend and if I was to return to Pitlochry this is where I'd book 😊
Very friendly staff, lovely hotel and excellent breakfast. What made our stay was the owner coming to Pitlochry Main Street to tell us he was upgrading us to the four poster suite - definitely above and beyond and really appreciated as it was our 35th wedding anniversary ! Thank you so much for a lovely welcoming stay. Well definitely be back.
Our room was lovely. Nice view from the window. All very clean and every facility needed was available. Welcomed by our host and made to feel very welcome. Breakfast served in a lovely room with plentiful supply of everything.
The hotel was situated away from the Main Street but only a five minute walk.

Friday and Saturday nights groups playing.Hotel b/fast set you of for the day, pool, sauna and jazzcua with poolside loungers.Would recommended having a massage or 2 girls really good. All staff friendly, helpful, rooms spotless .
This was the best B&B on our week-long tour of Scotland! The room was gorgeous - comfortable bed, plenty of room, lots of electric sockets, great bathroom. Wonderful view of the gardens and Pitlochry, and so quiet, yet only a 2-minute walk down to the main street. Great breakfast too.
Front facing room. Staff very helpful and attentive, hotel was clean, comfy beds, very good breakfast. Close to all amenities in Pitlochry, set back from main road, little to no traffic noise. My third or fourth visit to this hotel, I will use them again.
From our welcome to Hotel then lovely clean accommodation Excellent Dinner & Breakfast could not fault anything Staff were very friendly & fantastic service throughout our stay Would recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Pitlochry.
This is a great hotel for a visit to Pitlochry. Everything is within easy walking distance. Great breakfast included. Room was a decent size & had just been re-done, walk in shower - felt very spacious.
