The room was clean and it was quite a pleasant location on the canal side. There was a kettle and facilities for making tea and coffee. I couldn't find a hair dryer. The beds were comfortable and the shower worked well.

The room was lovely, the TV worked, the bathroom was well appointed. Everything in the room is great. The dining room is a lovely place to be and the food was fantastic.
Royal Forester Country Inn is situated opposite the main visitor centre to the Wyre Forest. Free on-site parking is available, and Kidderminster town centre is only a 15-minute drive away.

We chose property due to its location near to Severn Valley Railway as we were attending an event here.
Property was easy to find, had on-site parking. Our room was spacious, with nice bathroom and dog friendly. Good breakfast choices and cooked breakfast arrived hot and delicious.
Lovely pretty place, particularly down by the waterside.
Lovely pretty place, particularly down by the waterside.
We were there for a 3 day event at the Civic, but there is still plenty to do to have a nice stay around the area.
There are all the shops you'll need, although the cafes that we found open (out of season) finished serving hot food early afternoon. There is a good choice of pubs, restaurants & takeaways.
The music/record shop & antique shops opened on Sunday too.
Easy to get around by foot although the buses to & from Kidderminster are confusing because of the one-way routes but with the same numbers (15 A/B/C). You can better rely on the no.3 - to find the stops, & to be direct, although further to walk in Kidderminster, to & from the railway station.

A lovely area with canal locks, good pubs, an amazing variety of shops, green areas, we went last week of December and the town looked amazing with the lights and just busy enough. When we went through on the canal boat in summer, well, it was well busy with people out enjoying the weather

Nice place with plenty of pubs that do food. Lovely riverside area and permanent funfair for all the family along with a couple of Amusement Arcades. Regular riverboat trips run which is great. Also only 1 hour away.

*Rooms ok but family room a little on the small side for a family of 4.
*Breakfast quite expensive.
*Leisure facilities- Extra charge for the use of these.
Pool/steam room very grubby & dirty, in need of good clean.
*Carpets grubby, corridors dark. (Rooms are not in the Manor house, they're in the annex) ..
Sleep quality poor, when wedding/party going on. Very noisy.

Stourport is a lovely little area. A small fun fair.
Stourport is a lovely little area. A small fun fair. Decent shops for tourists. Beautiful river Seven and you can walk for miles a long it. Little small pubs on the way helps😃
Lots of people travel in from the sounding areas. Especially on bank holidays.
We had an absolutely amazing stay here at The Wharf. The location is wonderful - situated in the heart of the marina in Stourport.
Our room was superb. Spacious, welcoming and very well equipped indeed. Really well laid out and has everything you could wish for.
The proprietor and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming and helpful too.
Parking was easy and is literally outside the door.
In short, I can highly recommend The Wharf and we will most definitely return again.
Our room was well decorated and tasteful. It was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. They were efficient and respectful of the distancing rules. We enjoyed the dinner at the hotel. The lasagne was very tasty and the ham, chicken and leek pie was a good flavour. Our dessert of chocolate torte with raspberries was delicious.
Dog friendly. The view of The Severn was great and the Inn was within easy walking distance of the town. The furniture and carpet in the room was of good quality and there were lots of power points. The heating worked well. The electric shower was good and there was a heated tower rail. The Inn has a traditional English bar. The price was lower than other hotels in the area.
The location by the River Severn is fantastic, a couple of minutes walk to the town of Stourport. The hosts were very welcoming and informative. A great base for exploring this area . We visited Brockhampton Estate ( a gem ) Coughton Hall , Bewdley , Alcester and Worcester ( Three cheers for Miss Pearl and The Rough Diamonds )
our stay and what we came to the area for was great the hotel a major disappointment. In the 4 weeks with new owners massive volume of complaints have been made and 12 members of staff have walked out. the public areas ie corridors are a disgrace. No information given about leisure facilites , dining room or anything at all.
The hotel was a great stop-off point for our trip from Yorkshire down to Devon. It had everything we needed. The staff were very welcoming and showed us to our room. We luckily arrived in time for dinner and had one of the best curries we have ever had! Breakfast was also brilliant. We will definitely look to stay again.
excellent location for our first visit to Stourport. property was extremely well maintained & spotlessly clean throughout. very comfortable beds with good nights sleep by all. every facility required was more than catered for. hosts were excellent & very helpful/ responsive. thankyou for an amazing stay.
I liked it because if I was staying in a hotel I would have to get up in the morning for a certain time for breakfast but staying in this apartment I could eat when I felt like it and I found it very relaxing. I would definitely book an apartment again.
Food and location were above average. I had to cut stay short due to ill health, but I would definitely go back here when I require accommodation in Stourport.
