An excellently located hotel with plenty of nice bars and restaurants a step away but also only 10 minute walk into the town centre. The hotel itself is decorated impeccably to a 5-star hotel standard - I would say the most beautiful I have seen (and I have stayed in plenty of places!). The manager was very helpful and did not hesitate to answer any questions or be of any assistance. It is definitely worth a stay!

Exceptional staff catering to all our needs. We attended a family wedding which was fantastic .due to the organization of the hotel management team and function staff. The breakfasts, snacks and evening meals were all very good , but the Sunday roast was amazing. A great place to stay and we thoroughly recommend it to everyone. We spent a very lazy Sunday wandering along all the public "farm" footpaths which surround the complex....just wonderful.

There is nothing bad about a stay in Worcester.

There is nothing bad about a stay in Worcester. Most visitor places are close and from where we stayed at DIGLIS House Hotel we did not need to use the car. The river is close and there are many benches to sit on while watching the swans (at least 30 all staying together) or the rowers. Many good restaurants within waalking range but not all are open on Sundays so bear this in mind.

Worcester has some amazing Tudor buildings and the cathedral...

Worcester has some amazing Tudor buildings and the cathedral is stunning, the riverside walk is beautiful and the swans are a sight to behold. However, it also has a lot of very rundown buildings, empty shops and a huge problem with people on drugs in the streets. While most cities have some of these issues, in Worcester it is everywhere you turn and very obvious and at times very intimidating. We often felt uneasy in the evenings. It is important to know that most of the wonderful mediaeval buildings are closed on Mondays which is quite annoying, so if you are spending a long weekend it would be best to visit those on the Saturday or Sunday. In fact we had difficulty finding things to do on the Monday and ended our day early. We will not bother returning.

I visit Worcester annually for the Elgar Festival.

I visit Worcester annually for the Elgar Festival. I always visit the Cathedral, The Firs (Elgar's birthplace, now NT), Greyfriars (NT), the Guildhall and the Pottery Museum. There are many excellent restaurants and pubs, especially in the Friar Street area, and shopping opportunities in the High Street.

Location to Worcester, comfortable hotel with lots of seating areas for relaxing. Spa was good, bice sized pool for swimming and comfortable loungers for chilling. Bedrooms, clean, everything you need including biscuits to go with your morning cup of tea. Breakfast was good. Mustafa made our stay, he was the perfect host during our evening meal. Ensured we were well looked after and even gave us suggestions on places to visit in Worcester. Very nice gentleman.
