Very friendly & welcoming staff, they helped us carry our luggage to our apartment and were very friendly from the start. Offered transportation to the full moon party and to our next ferry (extra cost but worth it as there were not many options of transportation in the area) Air con worked really well, the apartment was stunning and very clean. Perfect beach location, pool and easy access to the beach. Sunset was amazing at night. Food was incredible, restaurant standard and everything was freshly made, including cocktails and drinks. A hidden gem!

Stayed in a double room and for the price we were so happy with what we got. Seriously comfy bed, great sized room and bathroom (waterfall shower is always a luxurious surprise) and good amenities. Super clean and the staff were on hand to help (but only during shop hours so be mindful of this if you need to check in early or late!). Right next door to 7-11. The lady at reception helped us organise a taxi to the pier at a great price and overall we had a great stay.

It had a room available. If Rung was on reception then I could communicate with staff. Rung was friendly & eager to be of service. There was instant cofffee & free packets of snacks provided in the room. It’s almost next to Tom’s kitchen which is a very good eatery.

I really enjoyed Wat Khao Tham and Apichada view point where I can visit by walk.
There are lots of tasty local food with reasonable price. Especially I liked MAMA local restaurant.
Also, I liked carrot cake from Croissant & Ko. They have lots of cakes and pastry it was difficult to chose!!!
You can see the sunset from the beach.

This side of the island is considered the most alive as it is close to the pier and there are a lot of bars, street markets and super markets. I would recommend it as a convenient option for accomodation.

I had to go to renew my visa so needed to be close to the pier. Baan TAi is good if you want to be close to Thongsala & cheap food & things happening & Secret Garden is a lovely quiet place. However Baan Tai is very noisy and busy if you want real tranquillity go elsewhere.

Baan Tai is convenient for those who want to party and get to Haad Rin, Jungle parties and the floating pier parties easily. However, if you are looking for a bit more quiet, but still within easy reach of some dancing, I would recommend the west side of the island. Srithanu and Zen beach, especially if you are travelling on your own. Much friendlier. :)

Quite a small area but with great beaches and loads of choice for restaurants and bars. A good location for the moon parties and pre parties, and lots of places nearby to buy tickets. Many places to see further around the island but you would need to hire a moped or book a tour.

Ban Tai is the place to be in Koh Phangan.
Ban Tai is the place to be in Koh Phangan. Haad Rin might be too crazy for some given the Full Moon Party Atmosphere. Anything North of Thong Sala might be too secluded to some. Ban Tai is the perfect center
The views are fantastic, the room was very clean with snacks, water and coffee upon arrival. The room has a table which is a huge benefit for all digital nomads. Plus you have a smaller table with chairs. Rung is great and really helpful. He helped on many occasions which I am grateful for. I recommend renting a scooter at the hotel. The staff of the renting place will bring the bike to you. Location is great, 10 minutes from the beach and next door is a great restaurant also splendid to work from.
I liked location to the beach and also resort had own pool.
Really close to the ferry even by walk not so bad. And food markets are walkable distance too! + hotel has its own restaurant with affordable prices and good food options too.
You can refill your water bottle just at the reception area which is great.
WiFi was just perfect. Really nice connection in our room/ by the pool or inside of the restaurant. Just everywhere haha. Great!
And receptionist ladies were really nice!
- HUGE rooms that are very nice and comfortable. Actual chairs and sofas! This is rare in Southern Thailand
- AMAZING shower that stays hot! Very hot! If you knew how rare this was in Thailand, you'd understand how much of a treat it is!
- EXCELLENT staff! Everyone here is so nice and friendly and helpful
- GREAT coffee! Also rare to find the coffee at the hotel so good
- BEAUTIFUL sunsets every day from the tables at the beach.
We absolutely loved our stay at Summer Resort and will definitely be back next time in Koh Phangan. On arrival we were greeted with a bottle of wine which was a lovely touch. The service was incredible, decor and ammenities were outstanding, food and view spectacular and in the perfect location on the beachfront. They put on a great show on NYE, giving welcome drinks to all. We loved it so much we extended our stay by two nights!
These traditional style beach bungalows are typically rustic and remind me of my accommodations on Koh Sumui twenty years ago. If you want that experience then Sea Love is perfect...Visually it ticks the boxes for cool photos of your holiday on a beautiful Thai island. It's definitely the nicest looking little resort on Baan Tai Beach. We had an OK stay there and I shot some cool photos up and down the beach...
• Stunning location with own little private beach. Not too far from the port and the full moon party location.
• Nice and quiet at night.
• Hotel offers taxi service for 150baht per person, all you have to do it ask at the front desk.
• Staff were lovely and happy to help. We even decided to add an extra night onto our stay and they were more than happy to arrange this for us.
• Nice pool area and bar.
such a cool place with a great vibe for young people and staff were super friendly and helpful -laundry services there and bar is v good there also , the beach it is set on was one of the cleaner beaches we experienced in thialand also ! perfect place for solo travelers also - next to the hotel there is a place that do water sports highly recommend
the location is GREAT. It’s very close to many shops and restaurants, 711 and all the buzz yet is very quite because it’s on a side street.
it’s also less than a minute’s walk to the beach.
the owners are kind and helpful.
this place would make an excellent long term stay.
Pool and beach area make this hotel! We stayed in a budget bungalow which was okay for the price we paid - great value for money! Staff are so helpful with booking trips, taxis, onward travel etc. Nice restaurant area serving food and drinks
Fantastic central location close to the parties offered on the island but the hotel is set back on a quiet street near the beach. The bungalow was nice and bright and we enjoyed the sun lounges and music by the pool.
Literally on the beach , location was a bit far for visiting the full moon party, fortunately the hotel got 5 people together and dropped us off. The young lad at reception very helpful and friendly.
Small family run resort. Beautiful beachfront and nice pool. Staff work hard to keep everything clean. Restaurant and bar on site. Within walking distance to restaurants, 7-11 and night market.
Great staff. Good food at the restaurant. Quiet property perfectly situated on the Beach close to pretty much everything on the island. Rooms are simple and equipped with all the basics.
pristine hotel and friendly staff. Great location right on the beach and the room was superb and exceptionally clean and modern. one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at on Koh Phangan.
right near beach front , wasn’t overly party party but a/c was way too cold and the room wasn’t able to control the temperature . overall good stay quite social
Everything - one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in and an absolute bargain. Great staff, food, drinks and location on the beach! Highly recommended.
