Santhiya is a stunning and truly luxurious resort surrounded by nature and set right on its own private beach. The property is huge yet beautifully maintained, with a perfect balance of comfort and traditional Thai charm. Our villa had a modern Thai design with lots of beautiful wood details, a private pool, and great attention to detail. The beachside restaurants offer amazing views, and the small cars that take you around the resort make it easy to get anywhere. Everything is done with great respect for nature. Breakfast was plentiful, the staff were incredibly friendly, and communication via WhatsApp made arranging anything effortless. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Koh Phangan.

This hotel is fantastic! It's located in a beautiful area with some of the best beaches nearby. It's easily accessible, even by scooter. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. We received an upgrade for a special occasion, which was a lovely surprise. The hotel also offers a pickup service from the pier for a very reasonable price, which is cheaper than a taxi from the pier itself. Additionally, you can rent scooters at the hotel reception, and we received excellent service there as well. The staff really made our stay memorable. Highly recommend this hotel!

It was less than 1 minute from the beach and nearby there were also nice beaches. Close to everything and good internet conection. The staff was supportive and helpful. The room had a smart tv with netflix, amazon prime, youtube for you to watch. I loved everything.

The food at the local restaurants were very good and very cheap. It is very beautiful, especially for walks on the beach at night. The Island itself can do with a good cleaning. To many tourist just dumping everything on the ground.

I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location.

I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location. There are much nicer locations on the island to stay, however if you are like me, and like to explore, then this location is best as its in the middle of the coast line, and its close to central heart road ways that take you to any part of the island quickly.

The night life - bars, cafés, markets, and I enjoyed getting a massage after all the walking around. There are many massage parlors and massages are so affordable here. Also, the service at the massage parlors is very good.

Great location , lovely village great restaurants, not over crowded , family friendly. We ate in many local restaurants , the food was superb and very reasonably . Good variety of shops and supermarkets , we didn't travel outside the resort as didn't need to but plenty of taxis if needed

It feels mostly private and is surrounded by resorts.

It feels mostly private and is surrounded by resorts. The beach is beautiful, shallow waters, a nearby reef, plenty of fish to spot while swimming or snorkeling. It completely changes from low tide (early morning) through high tide (from 11 to 5pm). During high tide, there’s not much sand left, but the resort’s sunbeds are perfectly positioned for relaxing just in front of the beach. Nice sunset views too (not directly but close)

Haad Yao Beach is definitely one of the best beaches I've ever stayed at. It's perfect for swimming and kayaking, and the people here are very friendly. It's also not noisy at all, making it an ideal vacation spot.IF you don't ride a motorcycle, getting around can be difficult, and taking taxis can be expensive. However, you can still reach some great attractions and beautiful cliffside coffee shops on foot.

The softest sand ever, very quiet and beautiful sea. About 6 beach restaurants - all very chilled. Everything shuts down at about 9.30 in the evening which is perfect. A little slice of heaven if you want a very quiet, relaxing break.

Lovely area on Koh Phangan.

Lovely area on Koh Phangan. Many local and also westernised food places (Ann's and Shish Kebab were our favourites!), shops and of course pristine beaches. Worth hiring a scooter to explore around and enjoy the island vibes.

I was in haad rin beach, it pretty much is a village. A nice one, but no sidewalks, everything is cheap, a bit dirty. Compared to Phuket it really is a small village. But the full moon party was amazing, so much fun! So it definitely was worth it!

A small and neat fishing village.

A small and neat fishing village. Local and western restaurants, bars and amazing white sand beaches. There are also taxi boats that take you to Bottle Beach and amazing diving sites. In my opinion this is the best place in Koh Phangan,
