The owner, Mr. Ping, is truly one of the best hosts we have ever met. He is super friendly, energetic and helpful person, making sure you get the best of your stay. He had recommendations for the restaurants, beaches and places to visit around the island.
An added bonus was that we could rent a motorbike directly at the accommodation, which was great.
We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

As someone who does not drive a motorbike, I was a bit worried about getting around the island. I needn't have been! From the moment I arrived, Mr. Ping was there to meet me at the pier, and throughout my stay, he went above and beyond with every single request. Whether I needed a lift to a specific location or just advice on where to go, he was always happy to help, making my trip completely stress-free.
The lodge itself is a cozy, peaceful sanctuary, but it’s the personalized care that sets this place apart.
Mr. Ping is a kind, reliable, and incredibly helpful along with his staff. If you’re looking for a stay where you feel genuinely looked after, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Beachfront room had a beautiful beachfront view that still felt private. I was steps away from the beach. All of the footpaths around the front and to the restaurant was soft beautiful sand. The highlight is the Koh Raham restaurant - one of the most beautiful establishments I've ever been in; I will probably spend the rest of my life looking for a venue half as beautiful - it's a living work of art; it'll live with me forever.

It’s one amazing property right by the beach, the wooden look of the property is very scenic. The staff there speak good English and are very welcoming. Its located also in Haad Rin where the parties happen and is walking distance from where the main full moon party happens. Thai food served there is good as well. Very chill property and pretty cheap to stay as well. Overall very happy with my decision to stay here!

You need to book a baech villa , it was fantastic! With a good breeze all the day long, with a private pool and right on a beautiful beach! A paradise. Don’t think other room options are comparable, so you need to spend a little more to have perfection

Haad Rin is one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever visited. The beach is long, with soft white sand and crystal-clear water. The sea has a sandy bottom with no sharp rocks, making it perfect for swimming and relaxing.
What I love most is that Haad Rin has something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for an unforgettable Full Moon Party, a quieter night out, or simply a peaceful beach escape, you’ll find it here. The locals and travelers are friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
If you’re visiting during the Full Moon Party, just use the hostel lockers for your valuables, keep your wallet secure, and drink responsibly. As long as you know your limits and stay aware of your surroundings, it’s a fun and safe experience. The hostel staff are always ready to help if you need anything, which made me feel even more comfortable throughout my stay.
Overall, Haad Rin exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely come back again.

I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location.
I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location. There are much nicer locations on the island to stay, however if you are like me, and like to explore, then this location is best as its in the middle of the coast line, and its close to central heart road ways that take you to any part of the island quickly.

The softest sand ever, very quiet and beautiful sea. About 6 beach restaurants - all very chilled. Everything shuts down at about 9.30 in the evening which is perfect. A little slice of heaven if you want a very quiet, relaxing break.

Great location , lovely village great restaurants, not over crowded , family friendly. We ate in many local restaurants , the food was superb and very reasonably . Good variety of shops and supermarkets , we didn't travel outside the resort as didn't need to but plenty of taxis if needed

It feels mostly private and is surrounded by resorts.
The beach is beautiful, shallow waters, a nearby reef, plenty of fish to spot while swimming or snorkeling. It completely changes from low tide (early morning) through high tide (from 11 to 5pm). During high tide, there’s not much sand left, but the resort’s sunbeds are perfectly positioned for relaxing just in front of the beach.

Haad Yao Beach is definitely one of the best beaches I've ever stayed at. It's perfect for swimming and kayaking, and the people here are very friendly. It's also not noisy at all, making it an ideal vacation spot.IF you don't ride a motorcycle, getting around can be difficult, and taking taxis can be expensive. However, you can still reach some great attractions and beautiful cliffside coffee shops on foot.

Loved the included buffet breakfast each morning overlooking the beach and enjoyed the two huge pools. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful. (Thank you especially to Rin!) We rented motorbikes and explored the island and different beaches which was really fun.

The night life - bars, cafés, markets, and I enjoyed getting a massage after all the walking around. There are many massage parlors and massages are so affordable here. Also, the service at the massage parlors is very good.

Lovely area on Koh Phangan.
Lovely area on Koh Phangan. Many local and also westernised food places (Ann's and Shish Kebab were our favourites!), shops and of course pristine beaches.
Worth hiring a scooter to explore around and enjoy the island vibes.
