Fantastic stay at Samma Karuna. The location right by the sea is perfect, and the sense of community is wonderful. I loved 😍 the location, the view to the beach ⛱️, the jungle area where my bengalow was. I also loved that it was full bamboo in alignment with nature, very clean. I loved the swimming pool and the sport area. I loved the caring of people and the animals. Last but not least I loved the quietness as I was sleeping like a baby.

It was completely different from anything I've experienced in Thailand. I felt like I was at home with a Thaï style setting. The owners are really so lovely and welcome you as if you were part of their family. It was as if we have known each other for a long time. There is a kind of natural magic in the atmosphere here. This place is synonymous with relaxation, serenity, happiness, peace, harmony, love and unity. The room was clean and confortable, i also had a kitchen with many good equipments. The location was perfect for me because I was going to Orion which was close to my bungalow. And also, there is a supermarket at 2 min by walks, it’s so convenient for shopping. If you are looking for luxurious, soulless, and meaningless places, Smiley Bungalows is not for you. However, if you are seeking a place unlike any other, where you can relax and enjoy your life, with the jungle on one side and the sea on the other, with many lovely cute animals, all with a unique and warm welcome, then this place is made for you. Nam, Nut and Kenan, thank you so much for everything, I will never forget my time with you, you literally made my experience unforgettable. God bless you all.

Fabulous place. My room was large and comfy, and I loved having a little kitchen area where I could prepare food or refrigerate things. It rained a lot when I was there, so it was nice to have a great room when I didn't want to go out. The swimming pool was terrific and much bigger than I expected. The staff were all lovely, and the girl on reception was helpful, efficient and friendly. I'd happily stay here again.
