Right on the Highway - easy in easy out - drive thru Tim’s is almost part of their parking lot. Good fully functional rooms.
If you just want a good stop-over on a three day drive this fits the bill.
Even gave me a toothbrush!!

People are friendly. Nice Art gallery. Lots of good shops and really good Deli sausage place. Cute stores like Stone Moth. Lots of craft beer places like Smithers Brewing and Buckley Valley Brewing. Unexpectedly cute and clean little town.
Unexpectedly cute and clean little town. Quite a few modern type establishments. Great little coffee shop in town centre. You have to try Two Sisters for healthy yummy food! The Mexican restaurant by the railway tracks is awesome. It is a mini Jasper or Banff.

Yelena and Mark are excellent hosts. Yelena took care of us like we were family. We ordered some take out one evening and Yelena organized place settings on their wrap around deck watching the sunset and the mountains. Gorgeous. If you take their breakfast option, she puts out an excellent spread with home made treats and locally sourced deli. No problem finding free parking out front. The breakfast was a bonus, eggs any style and a hot buffet to fill up the plate, with coffee on tap for most of the day. The room was clean and comfy. Not the best view from ours but no problem, we were playing outside all day, everyday. The staff were super friendly, like pretty much everyone we met during our stay in Smithers. We'll be back in winter for snow sports, for sure.
