We enjoyed our stay at the Chester House, just a block from the waterway that is the centerpiece of Bourton-on-the-Water in the Cotswolds. We especially appreciated its dedicated parking area, since we arrived in a rental car on a day quite crowded with tourists and no clue where to park. The hotel was surprisingly quiet for being so close to the center, but also well-situated for walking around the quaint town and enjoying its charm. The breakfast was lovely.

We loved the old building and the cute smallish room in the attic. We had a gorgeous view over the town and the sun was shining in the room creating a wonderful light. The hotel is in the middle of the village and the restaurant is outstanding!

Everything!! Beautiful historical building in keeping with the Cotswold feeling. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Great location on the central square. Good parking. Food was excellent and plentiful. Huge room with everything we needed.
