The logis was out of town and was quieter as traffic died down.good location for exploring the area.

A little village in a great location for access to a range of outdoor activities, Figanières also boasts some lovely eateries (Le Bar du Caou, for one, had an great range of seafood and other yummies), a small but surprisingly extensive and good quality Tuesday food market, an excellent little boulangerie and another larger one just out of town on the main route D54. The Jardin des Senteurs is a must see and there is a self-guided walk describing the importance of water and fountains in the town’s history. I’m sure there are other discoveries to make if you nose around and ask the locals, no matter how limited your French may be!
