Luca was a great host, picking us up from the ferry ( and dropping us off at 6am), he even organised a scooter for us and provided great restaurant recommendations.

My friend and I travelled Italy for 3 weeks and stayed in many places, but none were as good at Hotel Residence Sant’Angelo. The service we received for the duration of our stay was excellent. Sanny and his father Pepe went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. They were able to recommend multiple places, all of which were fantastic. Not only will we return, but we would recommend to anyone.

The staff were all so friendly and kind, the breakfast was generous and varied, the rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day, it has two bars, THREE swimming pools and a wellness centre with free sauna, steam room and jacuzzi! We loved the decor and that it didn't feel like a chain, also that it was just a short ten minute walk from the ferry port. Maybe all hotels in Ischia are amazing, because this one felt like a luxurious holiday for a budget price. Thank you everyone at Hotel Royal Terme!

All staff members were extremely polite, they tried to fulfill your wishes and engage us. The breakfast is also something we look forward to everyday. As we stayed in the hotel during non-peak season, we did not pay exorbitant rates and the hotel was amazing for what we paid for. We also enjoyed the 45-min complementary spa/pool time. We felt relaxed and energized after this stay.

You can get an all day city bus pass and go around the island easily, stopping and getting back on when ever you like. Hot thermal pool with amazing view on top floor, and indoor spa with thermal bath, sauna, and massage and other treatments. Had a great massage and enjoyed the hot pools. Very relaxing stay. I will go back for sure!

Relaxed Italian charm, with older clientele due to thermal spa and treatments. Therapist for massage was excellent. Buffet style breakfast had a large selection. Rooms very clean, sea view balcony. Expansive shady gardens and sea terraces were lovely for watching the sunset from.
