We started our walk on the Southwest Coast Path here. We had traveled most of the day from London (thank you, rail strike) and ended up taking a taxi from Exeter). We ended the day with a pleasant pint over looking the water.

We had a huge bedroom with balcony and stunning views. The breakfast was excellent. I am gluten free and never stayed in a hotel where I am offered gluten free sausages. They were delicious too. We will definitely go back there.

A warm welcome greeted us on our arrival. Too early for checkin. All our luggage taken from us and stowed until the alloted time, traveling from Turkey, we had quite a lot!! Our room was perfect and beautifully decorated along with the whole hotel. Breakfast was yummy, and more than enough. Was even given a complimentary hand wash after asking where it was purchased from. We would have no hesitation staying again and making recommendations to our friends and family.

The location of the property was excellent, it was so comfortable and spacious. I felt really at home. It was very well equipped and having the second lounge was such a bonus.

Great sea view from the room and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again next time I’m in town.

the staffs is amazing and welcoming and the entertainment everytime I’ve chose to stay has amazed me amazing for the price and location definitely be coming back

Excellent room with a view. Heated towel rail so could dry towels and reuse. Excellent facilities in the room, ie, tea, coffee, hairdryer, iron+ board.

The royal beacon is a perfect location and hotel , great bar and front terrace garden with views of the coast. We will be booking again.
