Alpina Boutique Hotel Ringgenberg Interlaken is located above Lake Brienz in the Canton of Bern Region, and it offers breathtaking views from its terrace and the garden. We spent 4 nights here in a beautiful room with lake view. The landscape is wonderful, no words to describe it. The location is really good for those who travel by train and bus. The train station is about 5-10 minutes away via the main street - we don't recommend the shortcut because there is no light there in the evening. The room is simple, clean and cozy and warm enough for winter. The beds are pretty comfortable. We were also happy with the breakfast - nothing too fancy but enough to choose from. Very professional and polite staff. We were allowed to self checkin because our train arrived pretty late and the procedure was smooth. Overall, we think it is a good choice and we would go back on any ocasion. Thank you!

Helen was just wonderful. For your info, there are 2 busses with number 103. We obviously did not notice and when we were asked to get off the bus at Brienz See stop, she came from her house to pick us up. The view you get from the room is just as the pictures. It's just a short 70m walk to the lake where you can take a stroll or run. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the bus stop from this place. 6 to the ferry which is right next to the "Crash Landing on You" site. Facilities were great. Fully functioning kitchen, large room and bath, TV, and WiFi. Hot water may run out but I just found out it's a nationwide problem.
