Set on a citrus farm in the malaria free Sunday River Valley, Bydand B&B offers air-conditioned rooms and is only 12km from the main gates of the Addo Elephant National Park. We had an incredible stay at Bydand at the end of our month long trip. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the owner was so kind an accommodating. Having access to the braai was a great perk, and the pool was perfect on the hot days. The close proximity to everything the Addo region has to offer was super convenient. We would definitely stay here again. We returned home and were still craving the fruit salad that we had each morning with breakfast. Thank you so much for the incredible hospitality during our stay!

This B&B in the heart of the Addo Valley offers romantic accommodation on a working citrus farm. The surrounding garden has a swimming pool, and all rooms come with free WiFi. Friendly owners - always ensuring we had all we required. Lovely green garden space- quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the dogs too! Breakfast was scrumptious and home made.

Treetops is a family-run guest house, less than 1 km from Port Elizabeth Airport. It offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi access, set within peaceful gardens. Absolutely amazing accommodation! The rooms are quite spacious and very-very comfortable with everything you might need. Our lovely host Stephen picked us up at the airport and dropped us off the next day without any charge. He was very helpful giving us lots of advice on what to see in the area and where to eat out in the evening. He also warned us about the load shedding time so it didn’t come as a surprise. The breakfast was absolutely delicious (one of the best we’ve had in SA, tbh) served in an interesting place. We laved every bit of our stay!

Everything was ready when we arrived, the hosts (Tom & Lucinda) were wonderful and accommodating. Wood was provided for the fireplace. Stand-by lights and a gas cooker was provided for when there was load shedding/blackouts. We had an afternoon walk with Tom & Lucinda to see if their cows had calves, spent about 2 hours in the field chatting and getting to know about the history of the farm. The views over the Dargle valley are spectacular.
