We loved our welcome by Eunice and her crew and they way that they looked after us for the 6 peaceful days we spent there. This included a chocolate cake for our son's birthday! The view is breathtaking and the animals are wonderful. The house we stayed in was perfect for us and had all the creature comforts. We even had the services of their canoe on the beautiful dam that is just around the corner.

Stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains! The cottage had everything we needed and more - very well equipped kitchen, plus a few extras like a battery light to get through the inevitable loadshedding. Comfy bed, a lovely balcony, spacious lounge area, and being surrounded by nature.

La Villa Bianca está situada en el frondoso barrio residencial de Oranjezicht, a los pies de la montaña de la Mesa. Fantastic place in Victorian house, with nice wooden floors. Great room with a perfect bathroom adjacent. The bed was nice and lot of place for our clothes. The breakfast was very good with eggs and fresh croissants, served by the friendly host.

We loved our stay - great staff, large room, very clean, well decorated and nice breakfast. The beautiful beach was a three minute walk away. The only restaurant in town is next door - very good food. The restaurant closed at 8:00, so noise was not an issue. We would happily return and highly recommend!

Set in a restored Victorian homestead, Macaron Boutique Guest House features an outdoor swimming pool and panoramic views of Franschhoek Mountains. Breakfast was wonderful, hot options made to order along with a fruit and granola buffet. The room was huge and had a beautiful working fireplace and a tub. The property looks out onto the mountain, the Luxury King room has in incredible view. There was always someone around to help if you had a question and even hot water bottle service in the evening.

We stayed in the new pool/garden rooms, which were spotless and well appointed, with a kitchenette, a sitting area and bath and very comfortable beds and plenty of good lighting. The main house is lovely, with a sitting room with a TV (Netflix) and an honesty bar available. Art work decorating the rooms is by local artists and available for purchase. Guests have access to a pool and lovely gardens on the grounds, plus off street parking. Stephan, one of the owners, greeted us and made us feel very welcome, providing helpful information about nearby restaurants and wine farms. Breakfast was delicious, a buffet for self service with a selection of juice, yogurts, granola, fresh fruit, cheese & meats, breads for toast and a Jura coffee machine, and/or hot breakfast made fresh from the kitchen. Due to load shedding excellent plunge pot coffee was offered in lieu of the coffee machine. The food was perfectly prepared and well-presented, with attention to detail not often seen in this type of accommodation. the Darling Lodge Guest House truly felt like an oasis and I recommend it highly to anyone traveling in the area!

We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment is in great condition, nice back garden with braai area and the pool is a definitely plus to cool down on hot days! The residence complex is safe and centrally located. Wilma and Jounel where very helpful and answered questions quickly. Thanks for everything!
