The lodge it’s self was lovely however on the second day our boiler wasn’t working so we contacted the host who couldn’t have been better! we were traveling with a young baby so we’re very worried so she immediately upgraded us to a brand new Barn conversion (the gas bottle had just ran out no boiler issues after investigation by the host) - Primrose - it was absolutely stunning we cannot wait to revisit especially when everything is finished. Wr can’t thank Rebecca enough we really enjoyed our stay:)

For 3 nights the lodge was a great place to stay. It was clean and very comfortable. It was so peaceful and the beds were so comfortable we slept really well. The lodge does need updating but having 2 dogs with us it was ideal considering the weather was so bad. The lounge was comfortable and relaxing and the bonus was having the Hot Tub which was turned on clean and ready to use which we did. The surroundings are lovely, with a garden, table and bbq for the summer months.

We really enjoyed our stay- it was hard not to make ourselves at home. Fab, reliable communication from our host as well. We couldn't find the WiFi but it really wasn't an issue 😊

The beds were really comfortable, the host was friendly and helpful and it was a very pretty place. The free free range eggs and bottle of wine on arrival were a very thoughtful surprise.

We were impressed from the moment we walked in. The layout of the property was good, it was spacious and there was ample room/bathrooms for everyone. The location was good, the area was quiet with lovely views and you could hear the river passing by which was relaxing. There was everything you needed for a self catering holiday, with plenty extras. Met with Joy upon arrival she was helpful and polite. Parking was available in Two areas of the property, overall property was as described in the advert. We had a lovely time and would definitely return if in staying the area.
