Eleni also was kind enough to leave a fruit plate in the fridge as well as yogurt, honey, jam, and bread. The bathroom was wonderful, and so was the bedroom. You will sleep like a rock! It is cool even in the heat of July, and there were two outdoor spaces you could lounge in and view the sea. Xerokambos is a quiet place with the most amazing soft sandy beaches I have ever seen. Each of the 4 houses at Lithos are themed to a different element that is prominent in Xerokambos. Sun, wind, olives, and the moon. Of course, the greek translation of the words. The houses are elegantly themed to the element they are named for. It is an enchanting experience to stay here! Eleni and her husband are the kindest people! She will make sure you are looked out for and is very available. Highest regards!

Situated in Ierápetra, 24 km from Lake Voulismeni and 23 km from Panagia Kera Church (in Kritsa), MaciliaVilla. Features air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. The property features mountain and garden views, and is 25 km from Agios Nikolaos Port. The hosts Georgia and Niko are incredible - we had very warm welcome and I dare to say they are best examples for the Cretan and Greek hospitality. We've got welcome drinks and fruits, water in the fridge, and not on last place local wine and raki (my admiration for Niko, the producer!). The place itself is a separate house with 2 bedrooms: one with a bunk bed ideal for 2 kids, and the other is with double bed. The living room is pretty spacious, with a large table Cozy, yet absolutely practical and comfortable. Excellent equipment, the kitchen has everything you may need for your stay. There is washing machine. The terrace will definitely become your favorite place in the evening/night. The Internet is good. There is no possibility to park exactly near the house but there is plenty of free parking space on the main street, not so far from the place. In our case Google maps couldn't manage to bring us to the correct house place, thus I recommend to contact the hosts before arrival in order to avoid unnecessary wandering in the village. There is a local cafe in the village, also a small shop. Ierapetra is very close at about 10 min car ride. There are at least 20 km (eastwards and westwards) nice and easily accessible beaches of Ierapetra. Georgia would provide you with the details.

We loved to have our breakfast at the terrace before starting to explore the east of Crete. A very good place to discover Sitia, Vai and the mountains. Thanks to Manos and his lovely family.
