Very tastefully designed in western style. Every detail of the apartment was carefully thought through It was very relaxing. I got quickly attached to this place. Even after 3 nights it was hard for me to leave. I loved contemplating the surroundings sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine or coffee depending on the time of the day. Host was very helpful and nice sharing details of local beautiful beaches. Highly recommended place. You will surely have a great rest here!

A beautiful property, with a huge outdoor area, with spa, sun beds, and eating area. And great views. Nestled in a small village. Worth a visit and stay. We would stay here again with no hesitation. Staff were warm and welcoming.

We had an excellent stay at this charming countryside resort. The location is perfect if you are looking for peace and relaxation – very quiet, surrounded by nature, and away from the hustle and bustle of the city but at the same time with easy access to main roads/highways. The staff were absolutely wonderful – warm and friendly,They made us feel truly welcome from the very first moment. Traveling with two kids, we especially appreciated how kind they were with them. They always took the time to offer them little treats like chocolate or crepes. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of both sweet and salty options to suit every taste. Everything was fresh, plentiful, and delicious. The infrastructure is excellent: the pool and facilities are very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing countryside escape.

Com piscina ao ar livre com funcionamento sazonal, jardim e terraço, Volakas Beachfront Suites fornece acomodação em Rethymno Town com Wi-Fi grátis e vista para a cidade. A real gem of a place, full of character, in a great location. Just outside the the entrance door, you have a cool pool. Open the door on the other side of the living room and you are on a terrace with steps down to the sea. A perfect place to relax and unwind, with decent restaurants within a ten minute walk (catering mostly to locals, Galera was our favourite). Athena was a vey helpful and gracious host, we reported a problem with hot water late on the first evening and by the next morning it was fixed. She even brought us a few vegetables from her garden to make up for the inconvenience. Shops are close and convenient (there is a small shop next door, and a bigger market about ten minutes walk away, towards the bus station). The home was well-equipped, it met all of our needs. Overall, of all the lovely spots we have found in Greece over the years, this was our favourite.

The property is situated among 5 villas within a gated area, with landscaped gardens and a lovely view. It had everything we could possibly need for our stay. It was spotlessly clean and we particularly enjoyed the outdoor cooking facilities and the pool. The property manager Pantalis was an excellent host and was always at hand to assist with questions and provided excellent guidance on local hotspots, places to eat and visit.
