Plaani Karjamois is the former dairy that belonged to Haanja manor. These historic buildings date back to the first half of 19th century and are currently undergoing renovation. The building complex is surrounded by lakes and forests. You will be staying in the spacious attic room, with a lovely view overlooking the premises from the terrace. The room has a double sofabed and two single beds, a kitchenette and a large flat-screen TV. Guests can use the gas grill to prepare food. We have open-air shower.
My guests will enjoy total privacy but I will be available on the phone whenever they need me.
Plaani village is ideally situated for exploring the south-eastern corner of Estonia that is so rich in culture and natural sights. The Plaani church is situated just 200 metres from the house, and a few hundred metres to the other direction, belonging to the manor complex, you will find the unique Sundial of Plaani. The highest point of Estonia (Suur Munamagi, 6 km) and the deepest lake of Estonia (Rouge Suurjarv, 13 km) are both close by, and the Estonian-Latvian border is just 10 km away. Nearby there are endless possibilities for outdoor activities, such as hiking, cycling or swimming. Likewise, should you want to get to know Southern Estonian culture and heritage or indulge in fresh local produce, there are numerous opportunities for that. Getting around by public transport is possible but very difficult. The most convenient way to discover this corner of Estonia is by car.
