The island is paradisiac and it's easy to snorkel around it because there's almost no water current. Also, you can wear whatever type of bathing suit you feel comfortable wearing here. The facilities are beautiful and a great compromise between comfort and adventure. Beds are great, the bungalow was clean and spacious, the mosquito net is probably the best one we've encountered in our trip so far, toilets were always clean, and we really enjoyed the open-air coconut shower. The manager Thomas and his helper Lukas are very friendly people, and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We also loved the food. Edo is such a talented cook, and he didn't mind us watching every step of the preparation of our meals and asking him lots of questions. We would definitely come back to this place because the whole experience was beautiful.

Grand City Hall Hotel & Serviced Residences is situated in the heart of Medan. It is next door to the Bank Indonesia Complex. Place is very convenient, easy to ascess everywhere. There is car free day every sunday and it was fun to join. Room were nice and clean.

I had a wonderful stay at Grandma guesthouse. Stayed for 3 nights, went on a multi day trek and then returned for one more night. My return felt like coming home. Yusuf and his family are very warm and welcoming, and will go above and beyond to make you comfortable. Organising the trekking and onward travel with Yusuf was super easy and very well organised. He also has a school for underprivileged children, which I went to visit and helped to teach English and played badminton with them. The girls also practise traditional dancing in the Warung connected to the guesthouse (which serves really cheap and tasty local food), so by staying here you will experience more than just the jungle, but also get an insight into the local community. A great experience that I’ll never forget. Thank you Yusuf and family!

Prime Plaza Kualanamu-Medan is set in Kampungbesar. This property also houses a restaurant, a fitness centre, a business centre and an outdoor pool with kids area. In this price is really amazing place. And breakfast so big and delicious. Hard to believe. Free gym and pool access also. Very comfortable rooms. Staff is really helpfull and have smile for every guest. Located near to the airport with free transfer. I love this place, I want to come back, really.
