Room was very comfortable, well decorated and had a balcony with chairs, a table and a hammock, overlooking the jungle vegetation that surrounds the hotel.

Beds are very comfy. Common areas are great for connecting. Mother of the owner makes incredible and local breakfast changing everyday. Towel is provided. Every dorm has its own bathroom. Scooter and bike rentals are available. Located only one block from the main square, supermarkets and local restaurants are 3 blocks away.

Posada El Zaguan is a renovated Mexican-style hotel in San Cristóbal de Las Casas. It boasts mountain views, a shared dining room and free breakfast. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Everything! the place, the room, the service, the people! Without exaggeration I can say that it was our best stay booked during our trip in Mexico. The hospitality was impeccable and the breakfast was amazing, served by the sweetest person ever. All in all very satisfied and couldn’t have wished for a more caring accommodation.
