The location is quiet and central, a perfect spot to explore the island a short 2 min walk from the ocean. The rooms are nice and all you need, and there’s a nice courtyard to enjoy a drink, breakfast etc. There’s is also a pool area, and on-site Mexican restaurant and dive center. We will definitely be back next time we’re on the island!

We absolutely loved everything about our two weeks stay at Le Jardin des Ilets. Vince & Christine made us feel extremely welcome and were always available to answer any questions or ask advice on where to visit. We stayed in ‘Calibri’, one of eight individual homes located at the top of a steep road at Malendure located north of Bouillante. There are fabulous views across the neighbouring beach and Jacques Cousteau Nature Reserve. Every evening, we were treated to an amazing sunset! All facilities were modern and clean, the bed was comfy, with separate toilet and shower area. Hiring a car is the best way to explore the island and it was easy to park at Le Jardin des Ilets. Sliding doors give access to a large decking area with large table, chairs and hammock from which you can enjoy the marvellous views over the bay. There is a separate kitchen area with a sliding door onto the decking area. This came equipped with fridge freezer, hob, oven, toaster, coffee maker, kettle and lots of the usual kitchen equipment. The purpose of our visit was to explore the local area, go snorkelling, try local food, drink rum punch, rest and enjoy the beauty before us. We especially loved spending time at the swimming pool which was well looked after and beautifully clean. The internet/Wi-Fi provision was excellent.
