It was a pure pleasure to stay at this place. Everything was perfect. The combination of modern comfort with a lesson of history about this property is truly impressive. We lacked nothing – relaxation, peace, quiet. The soaps from the local workshop – I love them! I’m happy there are places that choose to support local businesses. This definitely wasn’t our last visit.

The hosts are very friendly, kind and helpful. We even got treated to some home made pie upon checking out. There is a fireplace in the living room with everything you need to start it. Also there's everything you need in the kitchen to prepare and store food, a lot of kitchen utensils, pans, pots, knives, etc. We were here for the F1 SPA GP and it was a perfect choice.

Beautiful place to stay, impeccably tasteful and immaculately clean. Very personal service. Dieter & Tu-Phuong work very hard. They do almost everything themselves, and they could not have been nicer or more attentive. Our room was lovely, very clean, and with a comfortable bed and several seats in the room. There was a screen on the window, which kept out any flies, as it was May when we visited. Their garden outside has a charming and comfortable patio, which has been upgraded since they took their photos for Booking.com. Now there are fountains and more plants and several better laid out sitting areas than in the photos. I added one night photo. The house inside contains several rooms of downstairs sitting areas, which are also comfortable and tasteful. I added a few photos of these. When you stay here, you get away from the TV, as there were no TVs anywhere on the property, as far as I saw. You could relax and read, or have a conversation, walk, bike, or drive around the region, and enjoy Belgian beer and the picturesque countryside. There is a (private) castle, Chateau de Beusdael, which you can see from the road which is within and easy walk, Val-Dieu Abbey, also in a photo, isn't far to walk or bike. It is generally a relaxing region for a peaceful getaway. Breakfast was amazing and very extensive. We stayed two nights, and after the first day, I wondered whether the next breakfast would be the same as the first, but they changed out a lot of things. Both days had a delicious and very ample breakfast. I was glad we splurged for it.
