The hotel is lovely and in an amazing location. The lake boats stop is just next to the hotel and the train up to Mount Rigi is less than a minutes walk away. The staff were very helpful both in the hotel and at the tourist office next to the train stop. The views over the lake are stunning. The hotel provide a visitor pass for your stay, which includes free transport around Lake Lucene.

Stunning location with the most phenomenal views of the lake, beautiful hotel grounds, professional service all round, amazing breakfast and the spa was incredible! Best hotel we stayed in our Swiss roadtrip. Although it’s a little dated, it has a real charm about it and has been well looked after.

My room was clean, fresh, comfortable, with a beautiful view of the lake. The owners/ staff were very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay here again when I come back to this area.

They had a shortage or crisis of some sort so the Restaurant was closed and we had no access to the terrace after 6 pm. There was no house keeping either. Breakfast was meagre. For the kind of money they charged, it was outragious! I have stayed there before under VERY DIFFERENT conditions! This time was truly disappointing and a big let down.

The hotel looks new and is well located. Check-in was via machine but quick and without issue. The room was big enough for us and we really enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was closed but the breakfast was fantastic!

The staff. Extremely helpful and attentive. The Reception office, in particular, is very welcoming and go beyond their way to make your stay really great. The location and views are also stunning. Having the spa right there, in front of the lake and mountains, is incredible. Totally recommend. Very relaxing and well connected to the Rigi mountain train and circuits

Many years since we last stayed here. The new owners have sympathetically renovated this jewel on the banks of Lake Lucerne. Fantastic location, great facilities, really excellent professional staff.
