The photos didn't show just how large the 3 bedroom setup was. Every window had an amazing view, especially after the snow fell. Beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean. Lounge was really impressive. Kitchen well setup with all appliances working perfectly. Clothes washer and dryer very appreciated! The hosts provided us with a detailed check in, fully explaining everything we needed to know. The lift was a life saver for luggage. The location was excellent being close to everything you could need and tourist hotspots. We would definitely stay here again

Family-run for 150 years, the Boutique Hotel Balm is located in a green suburb of Lucerne and features a gourmet restaurant with fish and other specialities and offers free WiFi in all rooms. The hotel also offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Staying here was truly a memorable experience, made even better by the outstanding staff who went above and beyond to accommodate us. I was in Lucerne to compete in the Swiss City Marathon, and they graciously prepared an early breakfast to fit my race schedule. Edith at reception was incredibly thoughtful, taking time to calm my nerves and ensuring I had everything I needed for the big day. It was the kind of personal touch that’s rare to find and so appreciated. The hotel’s onsite restaurant and Bistro were constantly buzzing with patrons, a clear indication of their popularity. Although we didn’t get a chance to dine in this time, we’ll definitely be trying them on our next visit. With service and atmosphere this exceptional, we wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in Lucerne!

The Restaurant La Balance serves excellent French and Swiss cuisine and features a river-side terrace. There is also a casual bistro and a piano bar at the Hotel des Balances. Location was perfect and central to all the shops, restaurants and chapel bridge. The room was so spacious, clean and comfortable with a stunning view of the River! Staff was so helpful, friendly and professional. The restaurant was top notch with great food and service. I definitely recommend this hotel. Loved everything about it.

They were also answering my messages prior my arrival very fast, i was able to receive my Luzern visitor card for free transportation right on time. The room was spacious and very clean. I loved having the Coffee machine in the room. Hotel is conveniently located near a bus stop.
