Excellent service, clean, friendly and supportive staff

I loved the food at the restaurant and the location. The room was small but very cozy and I could tell care had been placed in designing the room. It was modern, very clean and such a great respite from travelling all day. Location was close to the train station so I was able to walk. The bed was comfortable and the staff were delightful. I’m very glad I stayed here and hope to return

After several trips where we had accommodation quite far from the center and/or local means of transport, this time we had an ideal location of the hotel in relation to the city center, the train station and the port at Lake Luzern (from this point of view it was probably our best accommodation since we have been traveling together as a couple). The very short distances exceeded our expectations (in one minute you are in the city center and in 10 minutes you are at the train station or at the port). In conclusion, we warmly recommend this hotel both to those who come to visit the city and take a boat ride on the lake, as well as to those who want to make day trips to the spectacular mountains in the area. If you add to all this the feeling of peace and calm that the neighborhood in which the hotel is located gives you, you have all the conditions for a successful vacation in Luzern. One thing we especially appreciate on our travels and mention whenever it is present: the shower conditions. These were also exceptional here: generous space, adequate water pressure and temperature.

Ibis Budget is excellent value for money. The room is not big but quite enough for a stay of several days. Hygiene is good, the room is cleaned every day. Breakfast is simple but has everything you need to start the day. The coffee is good. Hot water and a microwave are available 24 hours a day in the lobby of the hotel, which is very useful for a cheap meal from a supermarket right next to the hotel. The space of the room was impeccably satisfying and even the cleanliness. The views from the 6th floor where breathtaking.

The hotel is so excellent, clean room, large sized ensuit bathroom, good breakfast and conventient public transportation to the downtown area and main train station.

Location was great, 10 mins walk to the train station and ferry port. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel also has an elevator and a luggage room, so we were able to leave our bags and make the most of our last hours.

Very nice and helpful staff The location and view was AMAZING Breakfast was delicious Cozy room and the bathroom was well equipped (the shampoo, conditionner and body wash smelled great) We unfortunetely didn’t eat dinner at the restaurant but we ordered room service (you should order the penne vodka, it was DELICIOUS)

The hotel is in an exceptionally convenient location, within walking distance to the Christmas Market at the Balestor area and the beautiful Old Town of Lucerne. This made sightseeing and evening strolls extremely enjoyable. The reception staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable, providing a wonderful place to rest after a long day of exploring. Overall, we truly loved our stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lucerne. We would definitely return again!

The hotel is charming and intimate, in an excellent and convenient location — just one block from the train station. We requested a quiet room facing the back courtyard, and it was indeed peaceful, pleasant, and clean. The reception staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive to our special requests. The dining area features a coffee station available all day for hotel guests, which was a lovely touch. Overall, great value for the price. Highly recommended.
