Everything was absolutely perfect. The room was spacious and very clean, with a huge bathroom. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, and the bed linen and towels were spotless and snow-white. The terrace was amazing, with a stunning view of the mountains — truly unforgettable. The breakfast was excellent: delicious, fresh, and varied. The staff were outstanding — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help.

An amazing stay. We arrived to crystal clear skies and snow capped mountains, in time to watch the sun set. After a gorgeous meal in the Queen Victoria restaurant, we awoke the next day to a white out - snow had descended! But nothing stops the Swiss from operating in the snow, so all cable cars etc were running as normal. A thoroughly different, and truly magnificent stay, would highly recommend.

The location was just stunning 😍 set between the mountains and the blue waters,the hotel sure makes for one serene setting. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and well-mannered, special mention for Alex who made us feel special by going above and beyond to make our stay special. The wellness area and the surrounding area are amazing for relaxing, hiking, or just lazying around under the sun. We highly highly recommend the stay, especially for couples. The hotel is lovely and in an amazing location. The lake boats stop is just next to the hotel and the train up to Mount Rigi is less than a minutes walk away. The staff were very helpful both in the hotel and at the tourist office next to the train stop. The views over the lake are stunning. The hotel provide a visitor pass for your stay, which includes free transport around Lake Lucene.

A very walkable city. We had two nights stay. Arrived 3pm and visited most of the major attractions on this first afternoon. Our full day was very relaxed and spent walking around the old town exploring the shops. Shocked at how expensive food and drink are in Luzern. Glad we visited but not somewhere I need to come back to.

Beautiful location on the lace with option to enjoy a mountain hike or by public transportation. Good for people that love relax, wellness or sport. Fantastic panoramic views and short trips in Central Switzerland. Can recommend this as a short holiday stay.

Sursee is a stunningly beautiful town with charming old houses, a picturesque Old Town, excellent restaurants, a castle, a creek, and nearby lake. As a family, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What made it truly special were the incredibly welcoming and kind people. We felt at home right away and would love to return. Highly recommended!

I received an upgrade from a mountain view room to a lake view room, which I appreciated very much. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Hotel Rigi Vitznau to anyone visiting Vitznau.

As I live not far away, I am quite a frequent visitor to Luzern for day-trips or short stays. But for a one-off trip, it's worth spending up to 3 days there, especially if you want to venture beyond the lakeside and the old town to take in any excursions on the lake or up the local mountains such as Mt. Pilatus, Mt. Rigi or even the slightly more distant Mt. Titlis. In the town itself there are, of course, several historic churches that are worth a visit, as well as a couple of notable museums and art galleries; while for music-lovers, the KKL is one of Europe's foremost concert venues - albeit expensive even by Swiss standards! Yes, Luzern is a mecca for international tourists and presents itself accordingly - but it has become so for good reason as one of the most attractive locations in a famously picturesque country. The big downside - apart from those infamous Swiss prices! - is that the town itself is absolutely dead after about 9 p.m. Unless you're into McDonalds or boisterous faux-English "pubs" (Mr. Pickwick's), it's impossible to get a late-evening drink or snack even in the middle of summer. This comes as quite a shock to visitors, and can be quite a dampener after an enjoyable day's sightseeing . . . At the other end of the daily schedule: aim to get to the Chapel Bridge first thing in the morning if you want to avoid a never-ending throng shuffling shoulder-to-shoulder across it and have any chance of appreciating the dozens of historic triangular paintings that adorn the underside off the wooden roof.

We used Weggis as a base to travel to the attractions each day. It served us well for transport and we loved the ferry trips on the lake. Our Hotel Beau Rivage was lovely. Room a great size with comfortable bed, storage space, and relaxation area. Good sized balcony to enjoy the view from. We ate both in the hotel restaurant and a local italian restaurant, which was wonderful.

If you are umming and ahhing about going, just go. I've seen a review saying it was crowded, but October 2023 it was not, it was very quiet so if you want a bustling vibe it's not for you! I think in summer it may be more of a popular spot.

Excellent place to visit in the heart of Switzerland. Access to everything, feels safe and excellent infrastructure. If you're after mountains, got it. If you're after lakes, got it. If you want history, got it. If you want food, got it. If you're after shopping, got it. Everything is hear. Only negative which applies to all of Switzerland is cost.

Ok so, Weggis is a beautiful little village but that is also it's problem, it's a little village. Activities were limited and so were the restaurants. I would recommended staying there as a "base" but then exploring the surrounding attractions.
