It was an amazing place and honestly exceeded my expectations! The kitchen was fully equipped, everything was very convenient, and the whole hostel was really clean. I saw the cleaning team taking care of the place every day.
There were plenty of toilets and showers, so I never had to wait. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. And the view of the lake right in front of the hostel was beautiful!
I would definitely recommend staying here!

An amazing city with perfect connections and beautiful scenery!We absolutely loved our stay in Lucerne. The Old Town is charming, and the entire city feels incredibly clean and safe. One of the best parts is the water - there are beautiful rivers and the lake right there, and we highly recommend taking the boat trips. Lucerne is also the perfect base for travel. It has excellent train connections to both Zurich and Lausanne, and it is very easy to get to the nearby mountains for day trips. We highly recommend visiting!

Beautiful visit to the old town where we spent time exploring various traditional swiss and european restaurants, shopping and of course, vacation chocolate and ice cream! Accessed Pilatus and the Swiss Museum of Transport easily from the location via the public transportation system.

Lucerne has excellent bus service from the train station.
Lucerne has excellent bus service from the train station. We took the Legends of Lake Lucerne steam boat tour with lunch. It was fantastic for a special occasion. We also had excellent sushi at the Sushi Momo Palace, on the same bus route.

Karl is located not far from the main train station in Lucerne, but to catch my train from Lucerne to Zurich, I chose to take a bus from a stop about 500 feet from the hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The comfortable room was large enough for two twin beds with extra area. The bathroom and the shower were spacious and well equipped.
Breakfast was a buffet of healthy and hearty food. And as everyone we went in Switzerland, the coffee was yummy!!

Wonderful lakeside location with stunning views from the room. The hotel is set in a very peaceful and quiet area, perfect for walking, swimming, and immersing yourself in nature. It offers a relaxing escape from city noise while still being only a 5 minute drive from the city center and 15 minutes to Lucerne. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options. The park available to hotel guests was a great added benefit.

The localisation is very good - close to lake beach and stadium (if you are runner). There is also a bus stop just in the front of the hotel, which takes you to Lucerna in 12 minutes. The apartment had all necessary equipment.
