The location is absolutely amazing, it’s directly in front of the beach. The pool is lovely and the staff are very helpful. The beach in front of the hotel is a spot for turtles to nest, and the hotel’s staff is involved in conservation. They have a number of protected nesting spots where teams relocate the eggs for them to hatch safely. Super comfortable hotel with a hand in conservation - I very much recommend this place for your stay in Jaco!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Stayed two times and had wonderful breakfast, the pool is awesome, the rooms are spacious, clean and all you need is provided. Will always stay there again.

We loved everything!! It was perfect! The room was great, the restaurant was so delicious and portions were large! All the staff were so helpful and nice. The breakfast had several choices. The pool was wonderful. And such beautiful views!!

The location is amazing here. Steps to the beach, which was my favorite part. The ocean is very gentle here, and the sunsets are beautiful. The beaches are a mix of sand and stone so I was very happy for my water shoes. I brought a floatie and floated in the water with gentle waves. There's also a nice clean pool that was quite busy but refreshing to get into. There is a shower by the pool that you can rinse off the salt water. Our room was lovely. We had a full fridge and private bathroom. The kitchen had a hot plate, coffee maker, rice cooker and microwave. Perfect for making our meals. Check-in was very simple and finding the place was also easy. The bed was king size and there was also air conditioning which was lovely. We felt very safe and secure and welcomed by the Costa Rican family that we met each day we were there. Parking was right beside our room. Very safe and secure.

My trip was meant to help me relax, and I truly felt happy during my stay. I loved the peaceful location, the quiet atmosphere, and the comfort of the rooms. Most of the staff were very attentive and kind, which made me feel well taken care of. This was my second stay at the hotel, and I hope to return again soon. hope the hotel continues maintaining its relaxing environment and the soft, calming music, because that truly sets it apart from other hotels in the area and makes it feel exclusive.

Amazing Hotel on perfect location, on a beautiful wide, long beach. Every room faces the ocean, and the view is beautiful!! The hotel and rooms are modern and stylish. The rooms are equipped with every comfort, including extras like remote-controlled curtains and automated smart toilets :) Cute squirrels run around on the palm trees in the garden, we liked them very much! The staff is excellent: helpful and very friendly; they fulfilled all our requests! The food at the hotel bar is excellent, and breakfast was also very delicious! If we go to Costa Rica again, we’ll definitely come back!

The apartment was spotlessly clean, the staff was very kind and attentive, the location is good - not in the center of the city, so you don't hear the noise in night, but close enough to beach, so you can walk. The pool is very good maintained and not very crowded. The small pool at the balcony was an extra plus.

This hostel is very close to the beach and it has a relaxed a friendly atmosphere. Seb is a very thoughtful and accommodating host and the dog beto is always happy to accompany you to the beach. The house is very well maintained and very clean. We had a wonderful stay. And the price of the room is really inexpensive for what it offers. I recommend it 300%.

Both the owner (Jonathan) and the cleaner (Jessica) were extremely helpful, kind and patient when we had queries. The accommodation has been well thought out and great attention to detail is evident from the suite with a kitchen full of the necessary utensils, the quiet, well appointed private outdoor space and the relaxing swimming pool area. The whole, secure and quite recently opened complex, shows Jonathan’s care. It extends from the curation of all the indoor space items to the quality of the outdoor furniture to the impressive, secure entry system, high speed WiFi, use of technology, on site parking down to the free ice machine beside the well maintained pool. Even the dual language signage - Spanish and English - shows both humour and thoughtfulness in its prwparation. The beach is less than a minute from the from the door and the same distance from a street full of restaurants and bars. In a word, perfect.

Unique, private and excellent location.

Everything was perfect the rooms are brand new. Bed was so comfortable couldn’t fault the place. The host was so easy to deal with too. Wish we stayed longer.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Terrace Retreat. It is a beautiful, peaceful and very comfortable place, with a lovely atmosphere that made it easy to relax from the moment we arrived. Everything was clean, well maintained and thoughtfully arranged, and the property felt both welcoming and private. It was clear that a lot of care had gone into creating such a special place. We had a wonderful time and only wished we could have stayed longer. We would happily return and would highly recommend The Terrace Retreat to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Well, this was the best place on my trip to Costa Rica. So I decided to not to change and stay a bit longer there. Modern interior and made with taste. Cosy and friendly hosts. Recommend
