Wonderful host! Very kind. Restaurants weren't open so she gave us some of her own food. We were given access to part of her private rooms so we could dry our clothes there better (we had been in the rain all day). Gave helpful advice on the next stage of the Wilderness trail we were hiking. The place itself is very nice, comfortable, efficiently equipped, everything we needed in a relatively small space. There's also some drinks available at an affordable price (we do love some red wine after a long day of hiking). The beds are all bunk beds though, not a problem for us but some may want to consider this. Absolutely value for money!

Awesome! The room itself was huge, nice and clean, with a well equiped kitchen. Total serenity. Beautiful view of the garden.. And we loved the greenhouse in the garden. Totally wished we could have stayed longer!

It’s a small village, very quite place. The apartment felt just like staying at friends cozy home - spacious, clean, pet friendly, with blackout curtains, comfy beds. We loved variety of table games and well equipped kitchen ( just remember to bring your own basics like tea bags or oil). The coffee machine was a nice touch next morning. It’s perfect for families or group of friends. Real homey vibe, and not far from Monschau/ Eiffel park. Parking is available at the place. Our host prepared sweets for my kids, such a lovely touch!

The apartment is very new and located in a lovely home in a really nice neighborhood. Everything in this apartment is of the highest quality and it is decorated so nicely. There is alot of 'love' that has gone into making this apartment a home-away-from-home. There is a private parking spot right in front of the house. The Apartment is located just a short 5 minute drive from Simmerath where you can find many stores, restaurants and cafes, and about 15 minutes or so from Monschau and Einruhr for example. For those on a Hiking Holiday, it is close to all that the Eifel has to offer plus you get to come home each evening to a really nice apartment. The Owners also live in this large home but the apartment is completely private. They were not there during my stay, but the key was in a lockbox and they also sent a message just to check in to make sure I had everything I needed. I am not sure what the price is during various seasons, but I found the price for the quality of this apartment to be very good. I would stay here again and would recommend to others without hesitation.
