We arrived late and the self-check-in process was easy and smooth. In all the little things you notice the owner has very well thought out the guest experience and really cares about their guests.

We stayed an extra night at Haus Stehlings, unfortunately the apartment (Monschau Suite) we stayed at on the previous days was already taken for that extra night. The room switch went smooth with an easy key swap by the entrance. This room (Tuchmacherzimmer) was a lot smaller than the Monschau Suite, but more than fine for the night! The room was clean and the bed was as comfortable as the one in the Monschau Suite. The refrigerator was very convenient as we had some food and drinks to keep cold before our journey home. Johannes and his staff are always friendly and easy to reach by phone or whatsapp. We’ve stayed in Monschau numerous times and we can’t help but come back to Haus Stehlings! The sound of the river right next to Haus Stehlings and the monumental atmosphere of the apartment complex are amazing. 100% recommend!
