Clean, good breakfast, nice staff.

Over the past few years, this has been my base for Eifelsteig stages and other hikes. It is a beautiful and historic monastery complex; a truly special atmosphere where hotel comfort, an active monastic community and spiritual retreats blend harmoniously. The rooms are comfortable, and there is a range of options, so you can also opt for a simpler and more affordable room. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent and fresh; what makes it special is that it’s served in the former monastery refectory. Dinner is also available there, though it’s simpler and depends on what’s on the menu (there’s a restaurant next to the monastery, but you need to book well in advance for weekends and public holidays, or else try your luck for a free spot on the outdoor terrace). There is also a nice monastery shop where you can get Kaffee und Kuchen during the day. The monastery basilica is beautiful, and I was lucky enough to catch a wonderful organ concert during my recent stay. The location of the monastery complex is also special, on a hillside, surrounded by fields and woods. It is very peaceful; in the evening, all you can hear are the owls in the woods.

THis is a very nice modern hotel. Very friendly service. comfortable room, good bed. Breakfast is good. One can have drinks and snacks all day long.

The hotel was situated in the centre of this small town. It was lovely, with rooms which were very comfortable and rather nicely decorated. The bathroom was also lovely.

Firstly the Location is perfect and close by to all the important sightseeing and hiking trails. Rooms are cleaned and we'll equipped, Staff is very friendly.

The room was brand new (I think we may have been the first guests ever). Very well furnished and modern (as advertised). Kitchen was fully equiped with many more appliances than to be expected. Modern and clean bathroom. Plenty of parking space.

Tom was the perfect host, and the accommodation was excellent: comfortable, clean and convenient. Tom gave me useful information about the town and the wider locality, with brochures and leaflets. The house is in a very quiet area, and convenient for arrival by car.

The accommodation had everything we needed. It was bigger than we expected and had a very modern interior. From the location you can walk to walking trails within 5 minutes as well as to the supermarket and small city center. Max, the owner, also responded very quickly and friendly.

Communication with the owner was superb. We received their number in advance, and the hospitality was perfect. We could ask the owner about anything, from the facilities to advice in restaurants. The accommodation was very clean and orderly yet cosy. Our dog even received some treats at arrival, plus a handwritten welcome card, which made us feel right at home. And the treat even gave us the time to unload the car. I'd recommend the accommodation to anyone wishing to stay in a comfy and cosy home surrounded by beautiful nature.

everything was set up , comfortable, and clean. spoke to a friendly and helpful person on the phone to sort out a few issues and everything was perfect

Spacious, brand new accommodation with easy access to the Eifel national park.

It was a nice spacious apartment and it was really clean. We loved our time there.
