This is such a wonderful place to stay. I encourage anyone considering it to book! The setting the hosts have created is truly magical and you get a real sense of the hosts' characters in the interior and exterior design. We had dinner one night in the garden (see my photo), the hosts are happy for you to use the communal kitchen facilities. The rooms/suites are large with a super king bed, a small sitting area and en suite bathroom. Each room has its own unique character, so if there are other rooms available, I'd recommend asking to check them out (and switch if preferred) as what the hosts have created is really special. The hosts (a husband and wife) are incredibly friendly and accommodating and not at all intrusive. Breakfast is excellent and the hosts most of the items (e.g. yoghurt, jam, bread). We stayed here for 2 nights whilst cycling various loops of the cider route and it's a perfect location. If you're cycling here, it's mostly flat to/from Mezidon-Canon station, Lisieux has 1 big steep hill which is fine from Lixeux to the accommodation but I wouldn't want to do it the other way around.

From the welcome to the breakfast, everything was perfect. The rooms are cosy and comfortable. Le Pressoir and the village are beautiful and the location is perfect to explore the region. The owners are charming and helped us with useful tips for our trip. My family and I highly recommend to stay in Le Pressoir!

The accommodation was perfect for a family or even friends travelling vacation. A billiard table made the vacation extra special for our teenagers. Two living room spaces with television to relax, a kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans, cutlery, brand new bathroom with rain shower, a spare bathroom adjoining the master bedroom. The outdoor area was so large my husband and son were able to play football. The historic inner city of Beuvron-en-Auge was within walking distance. A Boulangerie (bakery) with gorgeous, delicious pastries within a throw of a rock. This is the perfect location for a quiet and relaxing vacation, yet close enough to reach the beach (Cabourg, Houlgate) by car. The host were extremely helpful making our stay comfortable, making reservations to get Covid tested, in order to enjoy cultural and restaurant visits.

The room is absolutely lovely and just a minute walk from the village's main street with shops and restaurants. The host has been super kind and very pleasant to deal with. The breakfast was excellent. The accomodation is also pet friendly, which is great.
