Accommodation in Filey

Stayed at the bay loads of times it’s always top class accommodation is clean and comfortable with everything you need love it hope e back in the new year

It was a standard English on-site caravan. It was clean. It had parking next to van. The van is located in a VERY large holiday complex. It has lots of facilities. We were only there for 1 night so we didn't use any of them. The holiday complex is on the top of a tall cliff. There may be a shorter way to get down to the beach which we didn't find but if the way we found is the only way down it is a long way to the beach.

The location was perfect for us close to the amenities and the beach and only 2 miles from Filey town centre also the apartment was excellent well presented by the hosts, we appreciated the arrival gift. Stayed 9th to 11th Nov

Absolutely beautiful lake view lodge with stunning views over the lake. Tom & Melissa have put so much thought into making this a lovely place for people to relax and unwind! We stayed for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer! We had the loveliest time and so did our dog Woody! The lodge has everything you will need and the beds/ quilts are sooo comfy! The log burner is also so lovely on a cold winter night whilst watching a film/ playing some games! The Bay itself is such a beautiful place! The beach is about a 20 minute walk and the path is paved all the way down which made it accessible for us as I am unable to walk that far, so my husband (for his sins) was able to push me down in the wheelchair and back up. The beach itself was lovely and quiet and very big! We did get caught by the tide as I couldn’t move fast enough and it comes in pretty fast but luckily it was just wet feet 🤣 There is a lovely dog friendly pub on site, we didn’t eat there, we just had a few drinks but the menu looked good and it was pretty busy! Filey itself is about a 5 minute drive, make sure you visit Inghams if you like fish and chips! If you like pie, make sure you visit The Piebald Inn in Hunmanby which is literally a 5 minute drive from the Bay. Gorgeous pies and huge portions! We also went into Scarborough for a few hours which is about a 30 minute drive. Make sure you get some food for the ducks who will come running every time you open the doors! We got some peas and they went down a treat! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your little piece of heaven, we had such a lovely time and we’re already planning when we can return! We had to dash pretty quick on the Wednesday morning as the snow started coming down thick and fast but it was so pretty! Until next time! ☺️ Roxanne, Andy & Woody!

Hosts messaged kept up to date and let us check in early so our little boy could have a nap, couldn't fault them at all. Ideal location, clean, spacious, felt like home. Would highly recommend 5⭐️

It was our first time visiting Filey and low tide was a perfect location. It was so cosy and a great location with everything you needed on your door step. We definitely will be staying again especially as it’s dog friendly as well.

The location was excellent; a very short walk into Filey town centre. The property was very comfortable and spacious and extremely clean and well presented. There was a separate lounge with a small dining table, fully equipped kitchen (also with a dining table), bathroom and separate bedroom. The flat is on the first floor but there was no noise from the property below or the adjoining property.

The space and facilities were amazing! Beds comfortable, huge bathroom. Really appreciated the little things like a pint of milk in the fridge, tea bags, sugar. Pretty much everything we could have wanted. We would definitely stay again. Great location near local shops and takeaways. The Chinese takeaway a few doors away was fantastic!

Had everything we needed. Lovely and warm. Great decor Just parked up car and never used it. Dogs loved the beach as did we. Cafes, pubs and shops dog friendly Just what I needed before I came home to start chemo. I was diagnosed after booking it in. But it all worked out fine xxx

Location was ideal, private yard was great for our dog. It was like a tardis too - much bigger than we expected.
