Grasmere is an amazing small mountain village that allows for mountain walks just outside the door - the place have great shared spaces and gardens and the best staff

The owner was absolutely wonderful. I was the only one staying for two nights and nothing was too much trouble to make my stay enjoyable. The breakfasts were great, the staff very friendly. It is a beautiful old building, set in a lovely little town. Thank you very much for an unforgettable time. David

We love the grand. It was far beyond our hopes.

The location is great. Although it is in a very specific part of the Lake District, the bus station is a few steps away from the hostel. I was there during an awful snow and managed to get there with little issues. I had the room to myself, but everyone I saw around the hostel was very nice and considerate. Breakfast was good, I only got the continental but seemed like more than enough (they had bread, cereals, porridge, and drinks). Staff was incredibly nice It was my first time coming to the Lake District, and staying at a hostel, and I would definitely do it again based on this experience. Thanks for everything!

The employees were very Friendly helpful and Welcoming.comfortable big bed. Beautiful bathroom with shower. Breakfast was very good.

A stunning stately home.with such a positive contribution to society. A haven of peace and tranquility. Prayerful (if you want it to be) No TVs in room. Such a blessing. Just listen to the water and look out at the stunning views.

Friendliness of staff, warm and cosy atmosphere. Excellent food.

Breakfast was delicious and Ro kept us very well informed about what there was to do and where to visit.

Perfect location, very clean and comfortable and really well equipped.

So refreshing to have such a good property so well situated, so comfortable, so well equipped, as described in fact better than description & unbelievable value for money. A really gem.

Central position in village. Cottage was lovely, well equipped, clean and comfortable.

The room was lovely and the beds really comfortable. Staff were exceptional. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Being in the centre of Grasmere I considered myself very lucky to have a parking space.
