This is a special property, parts of the original building are from the 1700s, and in the same family for many decades. The house is meticulously kept, and Bernie and Declan are lovely, friendly hosts. Breakfast included their own farm’s eggs and meats, with homemade breads. This stay made the end to a two week stay in Ireland so special and memorable!

Conveniently located, only 7 min from the centre of Mullingar and 15 min from Hill of Uisneach. Beautiful modern apartment, very spacious and so well equipped: there is even an air fryer! We had a wonderful rest there, and YES, the bed is extremely comfortable . We very much appreciated the late check-out. The apartment is tastefully furnished and you feel independent there, and totally undisturbed. Clare, our host, welcomed us warmly and she offered any help, if needed. We felt well looked after in every aspect. Thank you Clare. We very much hope to be back some day.

It's was something completely different,it was like going back in time to a different age, what a truly wonderful experience to stay here no bar no loud noises from others coming in late at night just the sound of nature from the window, really something everyone should experience

It is the perfect location for staying a few days in a quiet and rural area. Nevertheless, it's close to the highway that connects Dublin and Galway. The cottage has everything you could possibly wish for. There is enough privacy, but you can also easily get in touch with the owners who live next door.

Honestly the best place we have ever stayed. As soon as you open the door you feel at home. So many little touches to make the place extra special. The hot tub area is gorgeous and we loved the little BBQ in the wall but even without these things this would be a fantastic place to stay. The hosts are so helpful and nice and the whole place is absolutely spotless and so well kept. We did not want to leave and will 100% be back again.

This was the most beautiful and quaint place we have ever stayed in. It had everything! It was so beautiful inside and outside. The standard of cleaniness and comfort was unreal. The hot tub was superb and to top it all off....solar lights lit up this gorgeous little cottage at night. We loved it so.much we have already booked to go back in August. This spot is so worth the visit. My kids adored this little cottage on the hill.
