Accommodation in Akranes

So nice in the middle of nowhere

The host even gave us heads up when there were northern lights outside and it was great. Such a charming little accomodation, if you don’t mind the shared bathroom. Great value for price and a good location to travel from to different touristic attractions. Also the mountain and beach view was breathtaking!

very excellent experience of staying in this house. the hosts are very kind couple. We arrived late, it was already dark, the host walked downstairs greeting us. Show us all the facility to us. They are really kind-hearted people. It is so warm and considerate. the house is very spacious, tidy and cozy, with good facility and kitchen ware.

Decoration couldn’t be better.

Lovely cabin, sufficiently distant from the city to enjoy being in a quiet and peaceful place, but close enough to conveniently drive there (not very far from main road but we couldn't hear or see it from the cabin) and drive to get groceries. It's very well equipped, everything you need is already there. It's also decorated in a very homely manner which makes you feel very at home there, doesn't seem like a rental place. Worked great for us as a starting base for driving around the island while the sun was up and get back to enjoy the hot tub or look for northern lights in the evening.

Secluded getaway - but still close to the highway. The house was fully stocked. What stood out was the amazing hot tub and a cosy fire place. Everything we could have wished for - for a quick relaxing break.

Accomodation was amazing. It's a very cosy and clean room. You can see the owners payed attention to the details. The owners were also very friendly. I would reccomend this place to everyone.

This is a wonderful place to explore the area of Akranes. About 20 minutes off the city, settled in a beautiful landscape, the house is very spacious, very comfortable and particularly well equipped. We stayed there with our two kids and the house was more than enough. The outside hot bath is also a wonderful place to relax at the end of a good day. Although we didn't meet them in person the hosts were very friendly and responsive to any question we had.

It's not just hotel, it's an experience which is unforgettable. Everything is extremely well.

This is one of the most amazing places I’ve ever stayed in. The house is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped, with panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains from the wraparound windows in the living room. Reclining in the hot tub and enjoying the view was one of the highlights of the trip. Good, clear instructions from the owner on how to get in.

The house is new and beautifully designed and furnished. The large windows offer a fantastic view of the lake and the surrounding area. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. We would love to come back!
