I was so pleased with the value I received and how lovely the ladies were with me and my mother on this special trip. The shuttle was a fantastic plus. Just wonderful family-owned business run well that is nearby the blue lagoon.

We booked 3 bedroom apt for first night and studio for second, but host let us stay in bigger unit the whole stay, this was very much appreciated. Spatious apartment, easy check in, close to blue lagoon and airport, clean, everything for cooking. Warm and cozy. Kind host!

A gorgeous hotel set in a spectacular location with lovely staff and great facilities. It's very close to the 'official' Blue lagoon and we spent a day at the spa at 'The Retreat', which I would highly recommend. They woke us up to see the Northern Lights which was also a nice touch. We had a fabulous relaxed breakfast & enjoyed the late night soak in Silica's Blue Lagoon.

Nestled at the southern tip of the Reykjanes peninsula, Grindavik is kind of in the middle of nowhere - although it's also very close to the Blue Lagoon. That was why we chose the Geo Hotel for our stay. We found it a really lovely place, modest from the outside but cosy and friendly with welcoming and super-helpful staff.

Grindavik is a bit of a ghost town as a result of the volcanic activity but this was a novel place stay during a quiet phase between eruption events.
The hotel itself is nicely set up with a generous breakfast

We spent a night in apartment. It's super close to Blue Lagoon so I highly recommend it for your stay. It's quite untypical because city seems to be abandoned, but I read that a lot of people moved out after one of the eruption. Personnel was super nice.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was very good, and the location is great – close to the Blue Lagoon and the airport. Our room had a coffee machine, and we were pleasantly surprised with complimentary prosecco and fruit on arrival. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and it was nice to have a bar at the hotel as well.

A great first night in Iceland. Right on the doorstep to the Blue Lagoon which is why we booked this hotel. The staff were super helpful and the shuttle to and from the Lagoon was very welcome.
