Amazing hotel with views of the sea from every room. The onsen was wonderful - and I'm not a spa person. Good masseur on premises. Fabulous food and very friendly staff. I do not speak Japanese and the staff spoke almost no English. Yet, the friendliness and genuine desire to please made for a great and memorable visit. Also, excellent bus service to the railway station.

Everything was very clean and tidy. Had a lot of amenities and a good view too! Check in and out was pretty easy despite the language barrier. Breakfast looked delicious too (didn't have time to eat but I saw sausages). Took me a sec to figure out the thing about putting the card in the slot by the door to turn on the lights, but I eventually got it.

Fabulous location. A million dollar view. Short walk to the ferry. All the solitude one might need for a life changing meditative experience. The island is beautiful, a special place for sure.
