I enjoyed staying at Shigira, the service was great, the room condition was perfect. All the staffs were so kind, especially the English staff(so sorry that I forgot the name) helped us book dinners for the whole stay and upgrade our room to ocean view. I would definitely choose Shigira for my next stay. Thanks a lot!

Insane resort, you'll find everything you need. Bus, rental bikes or car, you can go through the resort very easily !

Great location, beautiful view. The room was a comfortable, lovely bathroom shower. The staff was exceptional helping us with car rental during a busy time ( Miyako music festival). The breakfast was great too! Loved everything and would definitely go back.

This was our first time staying at the hotel, and it exceeded our expectations! The room, and breakfast meals home-cooked/made were absolutely first class! The view from the hotel room was breathtaking as was our experience staying @ the Villa Resort! We will be staying with them again, and I highly recommend it!

It had really nice facilities and the ocean view was to beautiful. Although a little more expensive we got to organise all the activities with hotel pick up which was super easy to do.

The couple having The homestay took good care of us. They gave recommendations for snorckeling spot. You can rent snorckeling gear there. They gave some delicious fruit when we arrived. We stayed for 1 week. You can walk down at snorckel at waiwai beach. Full or corals and we also so turltes two times here. But I recommend to go at high tides.

Terrific personal service by the owner. Fantastic breakfasts. Wonderful view from the private roof terrace. Perfect retreat if you want something different from huge, impersonal resorts. We would definitely return!

It was very clean, organized and spacious. Everything was on point, from the kitchen to the bathroom to the bedroom and to the outside bath. I was with my little ones and they were at peace all the time

I had a wonderful stay at this resort in Miyakojima. The morning buffet was consistently delicious, with an impressive range of local dishes alongside Western and Asian options. The white sand beach is stunning and literally just steps from reception. Perfect for an easy swim or sunset walk. The staff were impeccable, considerate, thorough, and genuinely attentive throughout my stay. The villa was beautiful, superbly furnished, and felt thoughtfully designed for comfort. Amenities were plentiful and readily available, which made everything feel effortless. The location is also ideal if you’re after a proper island getaway. Quiet, scenic, and relaxing. Highly recommend.
