It's located right next to a cool surfspot and you can also watch the sunrise over the ocean with a short 5min walk from the house
And don't forget to try the best curry in town for dinner

SwitzerlandFantastic lowkey hostel 30s away from a nice scenic beach (people were taking wedding pictures when I got there the first time). Quiet, clean, functional, didn't get to try the hotel's restaurant but plenty of restaurant options a quick drive away. Very nice staff. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area. Make sure to check all the overlooks and views of Cape Hyuga!

Czech RepublicI really liked this place. I stayed two nights because i wanted to take surfing class. For surfers it is great place with easy access to the beach. The surf boards and wet suits are in really good conditions. Surf lesson was also great. Thank you!:)

The location was close to a beach where we walked over to watch an amazing sunrise. Last minute opted for the breakfast, which I've no regrets for as it was delicious with homebaked bread and homemade butter 💕 there is a cafe space to hang around as well and it's close to a restaurant with beautiful chicken namban. The host and her dad were so lovely. Overall enjoyed my stay here and wish I had more days. Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Hyuga.

Fantastic design small boutique hotel. We loved our stay there, special mention to the nice family owner and Sono, who takes care of the guests with them. The plus : getting to visit an area which is under the tourism radar

The scenery was so beautiful and peaceful. We loved the rooms and the beds were so comfortable.
It was an amazing stay. In particular, Sono, the staff member, was so helpful and gave us so many recommendation for things to do in the area.

The house is approximately 150 years old and has been nicely refurbished. All in all we had a great stay! Since we were only 2 persons, we did not mind that there is only one large sleeping room. Due to the old building structure, you obviously hear everything that is going on outside (cars, people talking, etc.) but we did not feel disturbed by it, since it was quiet at night and we could have a good nights sleep. The Mimitsu neighbourhood is just beautiful, calm and we only experienced friendly people there!

This guesthouse is located in the historical district of Mimitsu (Hyuga), which is a beautiful area. Kei is an amazing host, we talked quite a lot and it made my stay feel more like visiting a friend than anything. I'll be back soon!

The room was clean and sufficent for a good night of stay. Free laundry is available and you may use the kitchen to cook up a simple meal. TV in room was big and is a smart TV!

Looks brand new, big beds, so comfortable, really nicely laid out, great value for money but if you were outside looking at the exterior you’d think these were old dilapidated units - not so… really lovely accommodation!

Facilities were new and in order, there even was a washing machine for use. Able to whip up a small meal for the family right in the room. Parking was just at the doorstep which made it very convenient. The bathroom was huge. Very suitable location for family stay.
